provide hand sanitization areas

Recommend those that are over 65 and those with health problems stay home

Ban tailgating and vol walk

Provide or require masks

Sign a waiver to potential health risks

Have tons of staff members taking temperature at gate

Discourage lines or close down vendors in stadium

OR

Just outright ban the fans and before games take temperature and have a wellness check on each and every coach, staff member, and player before playing. Provide covid testing after each game.

There are probably ways to get it done. But it's an election year. Politics says the season won't happen. Potential money loss says it will.
Last paragraph couldn’t be more accurate.

I just had a vision of a pimp strut into Neyland with an umbrella, cooler full of drinks, and space all around me to kick back and chill.

You know who I would up there as 10 most talented teams of all-time?

2001 UT.

Put Heath Shuler or Josh Dobbs on that team and they play Miami for it all and might beat them.

Honestly, 01 UT right up there with the 90s teams for sure. I think UT and UF were the only 2 teams that could of given Miami a legit game that year.

They don’t care about the money. Big corporations and institutions have aqua regia. They will just type in more zeros.

Nope...
Too one dimensional and LSU's defense would have really gotten after them.

Because Burrow would have destroyed that black shirt defense with his running and playmaking. Nebraska would have been forced to try and pass after being down 21-0 in the 1st qtr...

Lol. That Nebraska team was physical band ran a ball control offense. Even when defenses knew what was coming they couldn’t stop it. They would have kept Burrow off the field. People just have for gotten how good that Nebraska team was. I would take them over LSU. Also, Nebraska had the superior HC.

Seating will be limited to like 15000 effectively rendering our home field against the likes of Florida and Bama useless
Or you can look at it, by the time they play us, they will be used to playing in front of a diminished crowd and 15,000 will sound like 75,000 (yes, I pulled that number out of nowhere).

Joe Burrow = Peyton Manning???
What!? Hahah. No.
Burrow had 400 yards rushing his senior year. And passed for 2,000 more yards and double the amount of passing TDs...just no.
That one year was probably the greatest individual season ever for a player.

Peyton was hobbled against Nebraska and he was none threat to run consistently against them. So was Danny Wuerffel 2 years before that. Osborne and his QBs had not seen like Aranda would have thrown at him on defense. LSU'S defense was not the same defense last 4 games of the season. Clemson and UGA had the best defenses in College last year and LSU Put 37 on both of them...

So no. 1995 Nebraska would have gotten beaten rather badly to be honest. All you had to do was get them in a deficit. They didn't have the offense to comeback. They would have had to because Burrow with his All-Americans and All world OC would have torn that Nebraska defense to hell.

Probably 60-14 or something like that. Huge mismatch.
Where did I say Peyton was equal to Joe Burrow? He is the closest thing, as far as a college QB capable of running a pro type of offense and make pro level reads yes.

Yes Joe can run, that is a good point, but still, its not like those florida tennessee offenses wouldn't do **** in today's game. You think 95 florida and 97 Tennessee would get killed by 2019, Texas, Florida and Auburn, who took LSU to the wire?

You can't honestly think that modern football is that far ahead of football in the mid-90's.

That Oklahoma team that LSU destroyed would go back and compete against 95 Nebraska.

By your logic, not even the 2001 Miami team would have a chance because the modern offense is too profound. Give either Miami or Nebraska the time to prepare for it and they could probably handle themselves, especially since the LSU defense aren't world beaters.

Also, Nebraska probably could have put 80 on them if they didnt let up. Were close to 70, but got tripped up at the goaline.

I think, organically, thousands won’t come anyway. They’ll take a wait and see approach. Just open it up, require masks upon entry at least for a little while, and let people, by their own volition, go or stay home. That’s not so hard.
Infection rate would skyrocket.

Do you not think some had to do with who was at center though? Maybe his scheme will shift with, say, Bailey in the future?

JG had the lowest RPO% in the league at 7.4%
Maurer was 2nd highest at 20%

I think the offense that Maurer ran was just throwing in something really simplistic for a fresh QB to generate some production. I’m sure it could help but our Ol was very good in pass pro last year.

All Coaches have tendencies and identities that are always going to be at the core of what they do. Pruitt is always going to bring a lot of pressure from the 2nd level and roll coverages. Chaney is always going to have a vertical passing game. Spurrier was always going to run high low/smash routes.
