The reality is very few college QBs can consistently hit the deep ball, hit people in stride, and "throw people open". JG is average. He can make a lot of intermediate throws, a few deep balls and he is good at getting the team into the right play calls. He has room to improve, it's never too late. Let's hope he does.

My father in law is also in ICU due to several ongoing chronic issues, and he has taken a turn for the worse today...it looks like this may be the end if God doesn't move. He has been suffering for a long time.

I know I am salty and a lot of you don't like me, but if you could set that aside for a moment to pray I would appreciate it...we can get back to arguing and griping later..

This year absolutely sucks.
I'm sorry! It has been a really bad year. Prayers!

If you’re talking about Trey? If he had come out for this past draft, I don’t believe he would’ve been in the first four rounds. I think the NFL Draft Advisory Board gave him a grade along those lines and that’s why he came back. Those first two slots in this next draft are up for grabs for Lawrence and Fields...not necessarily in that order. Trey could very possibly be third...all speculation. In a redraft, Quentin Nelson would be the top overall pick of his draft.
I agree on last year, but this next one I think he is #1. He is special, rare size and strength with athleticism.

Not taking up for him or anything of that nature, but I’ll leave this little conversation piece here...and grenade drop into the thread 3..2..1 🔥🤯
Very interesting considering he still looked like trash at times.

Well he couldn't throw a quick screen to save his life so he just threw up balls to Jennings and Callaway who BAILED HIM OUT MANYYY TIMES

JMO IMO BBQ

Was just about to post this but had to do my homework first:

Shawn Shamburger, Tennessee - 0.67 Class 2017, position evaluated for CB, Composite 0.8440

Trevon Moehrig, TCU - 0.77 Class 2018, position Safety, Composite 0.8816

Brendan Radley-Hiles, Oklahoma - 0.85 Class 2018, position CB, Composite 0.9887

Lamont Wade, Penn St - 0.96 Class 2017, position Safety, Composite 0.9797

The difference between expected performance and actual performance probably has everything to do with coaching and player character. Kudos to Shawn and his coaches. jmo.

If the first two teams drafting aren’t QB needy? They’ll trade to teams that are. Lawrence and Fields or Fields and Lawrence own those two slots.

Reading a article got me thinking, who's the better tackle prospect IYO Wanya or Darnell? Both look top shelf 3 & done guys, but I believe Darnell will become the top road grading tackle in the conference. Huge wide base, north of 330lbs.

It’s krazy how Ed O has one good year with Burrow and now all the sudden he’s sum head coaching guru😂😂...dude was an interm coach who basically fell into the job and then had a qb put up a historic season.I mean I get the hype but it’s a joke to think he’s in the same tier as Saban,Dabo,Fisher!

He's actually been pretty good since taking over.
And 2019 wasn't just "good" for them. It can be debated that was the best college football team ever. They could have put 100 on 4th ranked OU and easily ran away from undefeated defending National champion Clemson in the 2nd half. Those two teams weren't even. Maybe the 2001 Miami team or the 2008 Florida team at full strength could have given them a game with everything on the line.

Burrow was way too good for college past year and their defense got healthy and woke up at the right time.

Wanya will be the higher pick, Wright will have the better NFL career.

I thought they moved Wright to guard?

Pruitt could have similar success. He just needs to find his QB that can help lead the offense.

JG isn’t that guy, sorry to say.

Nope...
Too one dimensional and LSU's defense would have really gotten after them.

Because Burrow would have destroyed that black shirt defense with his running and playmaking. Nebraska would have been forced to try and pass after being down 21-0 in the 1st qtr...

Yeah. If we had Joe Brady as OC. I like Chaney but he lacks imagination sometimes.

We all know about "Tuff Stuff # 2".

Bailey or Maurer. Maurer or Bailey.
Maybe both for a time. May the best man win. And then ride with that...

That 2001 Miami team probably would've been the best match up for them. That team was littered with talent everywhere.

Veteran talent and good coaching. Both sides of the ball. Ed Reed would have been a problem for Burrow. Still think LSU 2019 would prevail because of their resurgent defense.

I would take 01 Miami but 19 LSU would give them a hell of a game. 2 of the most dominant champs in recent history for sure.
