The anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine helped lower the death rate in Covid-19 patients in the most recent study of the drug conducted by Henry Ford Health System.
- Twice as many patients survived when given hydroxychloroquine
- There were no heart-related side effects reported
- Early treatment appears to be key

Cardiologist Dr. William O’Neill, a medical director at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, first spoke with "Full Measure" about the study while it was underway in May. The findings have just been published in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Infectious Diseases.
The large scale analysis examined 2,541 patients who had been hospitalized in six hospitals between March 10 and May 2, 2020.
More than twenty-six percent (26.4%) of patients who did not receive hydroxychloroquine died. Nearly seventy-four percent (73.6%) survived.

Do you fear every disease this much? If so how did you ever survive as long as you have? This irrational fear you have is not healthy. It’s really too bad that you are a MSM sheep that lets their Trump hate cloud your judgement.
BREAKING: Hydroxychloroquine lowers Covid-19 death rate, study finds | Sharyl AttkissonFAST FACT. A lot of people died who didn’t need to. Wake up and learn something, anything.
Sorry, but 130 thousand out of 340 million is statistically insignificant. I know it’s not to the families involved, but we cannot wreck our economy for the sake of a .05% mortality rate.
Well that’s right. 130,000 out of 340,000,000 is insignificant. But that statement is insignificant. The appropriate statistic calculus is 130,000 deaths out of 2,700,000 cases. That is 4.8 %. And that is inaccurate because the deaths lag. If you could cap the cases at 2,700,000 it would take 2 weeks to 3 months to shake out the actual number of deaths
That broadway actor who died today was I. The hospital for 90 days
You running for office? Why else deny truth?

Good for you. Stats are not hand wringing they are just stats. But to me those who deny the stats and worse deny them/alter them are hand wringing in defense of Dotard or personal ignorance. Again good for you
The stats say it’s a serious illness that affects the older population. The mortality rate is younger people is super small.
The stats point to an overall mortality rate of less than a half percent.
My takeaway is the shutdown was overkill. And not adjusting as the data started to crystallize was the dumbest political mistake ever made.
Sorry boys, think the show is over. @PointGuard may have actually been able to digest how stupid the 4.8% number was in support of his argument. He had to run off.
Well Florida Texas and Arizona data after reopening speaks to the fact they ended their shut down ended prematurely and in contradiction to Trump’s own task force guidelines. Why? Because Trump shunned his own guidelines. Florida is reporting in excess of 10,000 cases a day. We don’t know the death rate of the under 30 group yet because they have lagged behind in contracting it even though they also lagged Behind in social distancing and wearing masks. The constant of this virus is it’s inconsistency across the population and by region. This is just another fact not an indication people are being lied to by the task force. It is Trumps task force
