2020 Presidential Race

@volbeast33

This is the video in question. You don't have to watch very much of it, just the first 13 seconds. You will hear an old white man in a cart shout "White Power!". He then repeats it, while passing another man who also repeats it. This happens between the 9-12 second mark of this video.
Thanks for the video..... trump needs to be careful what he retweets but we know that he won’t.... I would have to hear what the guy was yelling at the guy that said white power before having an opinion bc he was definitely replying to what the guy was yelling....I do wonder why people want to take time it of their lives to tell back and forth at each other.... they need to get a hobby.

I don't care about that old man in the golf cart. The President of the United States should not be re-tweeting a video of such conduct. It is in essence, giving that behavior an endorsement, or at the very least, his tacit approval. It's divisive and inappropriate.
This is true. People can "yeah but the Democrats" all they want, but it doesn't excuse Trump. No different than when Dems "yeah but Trump". Wrong is wrong. Don't defend Trump when he's wrong, have the balls to say he's wrong. I'd challenge everyone to be able to say that about any politician regardless of political affiliation. Nothing is gained by denial.

The first paragraph is borderline conspiratorial. The second is a false equivalency. Finally, I myself said she was awful, so I certainly wasn’t defending her. You’re going to have to try harder to pretend you’re a moderate.
Nobody has... What the count? 64 dead friends, whistleblowers, people tied to her husband's Arkansas activities, Haiti and business associates. Sounds like a solid link to corruption or the most cosmic coincidences ever. Perhaps you can explain it. That over 10 a year since she's been in politics.
I'd love a statistician to give numbers on that.

The denial some have over Hillary is just as strong as the denial some have over Trump. Both are flawed individuals that have accrued blind supporters.

Have been thinking all day about that tweet that some in the GOP believe Trump could drop out of the election.

If anyone was alive in 1968, what was the National reaction to LBJ deciding to not seek re-election?

It depends on what you are talking about when you say that. Hillary Clinton certainly is more than just "flawed". She is an elitist, who has shown characteristics of entitlement. Many Democrats do resent the way she rode her husband's coat tails into the United States Senate, representing a state where she had never been a permanent resident. I don't see many people defending Hillary Clinton for being a dishonest person, or for conducting herself as a typical self-dealing, corrupt politician.

However, the people (such as NurseGoodVol) who strongly suggest that Hillary Clinton has played a role in having her associates and/or acquaintances murdered, can expect to be met with skepticism until they can point to some actual evidence, aside from the usual conspiracy theorist sources. Most of the people who bring up such nonsense, usually start with the suicide of Vince Foster... and the theory that he was murdered has been de-bunked many times, and in many different places.

I am not in denial of Hillary Clinton being a bad person. I am in denial that she has had people whacked, like John Gotti or some other organized mafia crime boss.

I remember being so damn happy when LBJ would refuse his party's nomination for a re-election bid.. People were tired of Vietnam and wanted American soldiers to get out of there. LBJ seemed to want to keep the bombing raids going at full speed & was too hard-headed at the time to give peace a chance.

Thank God we elected Richard Nixon in 1968, right? He expanded the war by ordering attacks on communist sanctuaries in Cambodia.

He was also the president that stopped the military / CIA from using Americans as guinea pigs for their little bioweapons experiments .. so there’s that .

And the American Communists hated the bombing raids. People like Hanoi Jane and Robert F. Kennedy. And LBJ bugged Nixon's 1968 campaign airplane.

And the Silent Majority propelled Nixon to a 49 state, 520 electoral vote win in 1972.

Nixon also got rid of the draft boards. I was in college and didn't care to go fight the "politicians"war.

Just watched 3 hours of CBS news coverage on the night of Nixon resigning. That’s what real journalism looked like. No mud slinging and some on the broadcast were saying how America was just ready to move on and would likely show Nixon compassion as he moved on in life.

I’d say if the nation had inklings that Trump was going to announce he would not seek re-election, the media would be in full bashing mode of gloating for days.

If anyone gets bored or has insomnia, this is highly recommending viewing. This is the first time I’ve ever seen this footage. I was born in 91 and have always been told people hated Nixon, but watching this you see people just ready to move on from Watergate and would treat Nixon with respect still.

I didn’t know journalism like this existed.

You have been Deceived. The news media HATED Nixon then, as much as they do Trump now. There just wasn't any cable news networks back then.

RFK was obviously dead when Nixon took office. He would have probably defeated Nixon, just like his brother did, if not for the assassination.

... and there was no "silent majority". McGovern never had a chance. The polls even said so... and in most elections, they will be right.

Not even talking about the death speculation. Hillary racked up scandal after scandal. Travelgate, filegate, clearing out Vince Foster's office before the FBI could get in, Benghazi, unsecured emails, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some. She broke laws and got away with it. Yet many on the left don't want to admit that. Just as many on the right don't want to admit Trump is a sleaze. It goes both ways.

The Silent Majority spoke LOUDLY in that election. RFK may have won the democrat nomination if he had lived.

JFK, with the help of crooks in Illinois and Texas, STOLE the 1960 presidential election from Nixon. Talking about skeletons in the closet, JFKs closet was filled with them, but the news and entertainment industries were in LOVE with him.
