Well boys, got my COVID test results back today. I was down and out all last weekend so thought maybe I should get tested. Sure as all get out. Positive. Now, just get rid of the sniffles/cold stage and I’m going to get the ā€œI survived COVID-19ā€ T-shirt.
You're just copying @nicksjuzunk

It’s the same as the oxygen concentration in Denver. So no big deal...essentially.

With the provision that if the wearer is not conditioned to wearing one for extended periods, has preexisting respiratory issues, and/or is physically active - they may experience shortness of breath. Sort of like we see those athletes doing when they are hitting the oxygen tank or those with COPD when they drag their tanks around in stores.

Exactly! My wife is asthmatic as well.

How are we to believe that masks will only let the good oxygen molecules in and keep the meanie Covid molecules out...

It’s ludicrius..
I think they are saying wear it for others in case you have the virus because it really isn't helping you much except to maybe not get exposed to much.

Oxygen is much smaller than coronavirus and much much smaller than the spit and snot droplets that carry the coronavirus.

So, corona is bigger. Of course it’s going to be bigger in a solid form like snot or spit.

What about just regular breathing? So, what you’re saying is that it’s so big, none will go through the mask?

Any one else in your household positive? You certainly will have earned the t-shirt.

How does a mask use discretion in allowing good O2 molecules in and keeping out the bad?

Not sure what you mean...
Nitrogen is the predominant gas at 78%, carbon dioxide and others make up 1%and oxygen is 21% at sea level. Starting at 1000 feet above sea level, the Oxygen concentration decreases as your elevation increases.

In addition to working the past 10 days in a row, she's worked front desk and the restaurant and has come in contact with the most people.
Well, it's too late for them now so why throw them out? Oh, JK, it's to say you tried to not spread it so you can't be sued.

I'm not really sure what point you are trying to make. You seem to be trying to be as difficult as possible. Masks are not a 100% coronavirus deterrent. However, there is quite a bit of evidence that masks do help with reducing transmission. Do not know why you are trying to make this an all or nothing argument.

Just gonna drop this nugget about mask wearing...

If you are an N95 mask wearer, and are talking about wearing it to save others...you're either ignorant, or a liar. Plain and simple.

The N95 works like a military gas mask. It filters the air you breath in. The air you breath out of the mask...that others can breath...is 100% yours. None filtered.

Military and former military, look at how the mask works, you'll know what I'm talking about. Look at the rubber grommet. It's for letting your natural breath out.

I get that. What I’m asking is how does a mask supposedly only let in good molecules?

So, Covid molecules are so big they can’t pass through a mask? That’s what I’m asking..

My GF works at a nice hotel. 2 of her coworkers and her manager was just tested positive. She's getting tested tomorrow. If she tests positive, the entire hotel (currently full capacity) must close.
Is this the same girlfriend that was a stewardess on an airline or someone different? I can’t keep up with you young people. Have I mentioned lately I miss football news?

Were you a non mask wearer, anti-social distancer?

I’m am definitely trying to be difficult...it’s my thing.

Also evidence that masks contribute to breathing difficulties...which is a major symptom of positive Covid..

Yes, she was almost done with her several week training in Dallas then she was sent home. She was devastated to work that hard (and unpaid) only to get basically laid off
