Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

With summertime here be sure you check to see if giant spiders the size of cars are not lurking about the house.

Massive spider found clinging to Texas home: 'I was terrified!'

A couple of weeks ago I was in the other house - two houses and a wife keep you busy. I was sitting peacefully in the shower washing my hair, shaving, and generally trying to wake up. I felt something touch my side, and tried to ignore it as imagination. Well, I had to clean the shampoo and get my eyes open just to make sure I was alone. There was a snake at my feet - OK, it was little - probably about a foot long if uncoiled, but that just doesn't matter - it was a snake. The pattern looked enough like diamonds and the head looked triangular enough for me.

Thanks, AM64 .... It's really good to see you're above ground and not speaking below it. We've all kind of wondered where you've been the last couple of months. Maybe you said you were going to take a small break from being here on VN......I missed it if you said that. Good to see you posted today ....keep it up ..... we need your input on things.

I once had a king snake for a pet I caught outside in the woods around the house. I was about 9-10 years old.
Of course my mom would have none of that. She made me release it. Moms are no fun sometimes.

I probably just kinda vanished one day without saying anything. I like being here, but I'm definitely more productive when I'm not, and sometimes this makes it too easy to get in so many things we can complain about but in the end that we can't change. I'll likely just pop in from time to time and not really be a regular.

We’re on our way with the party favors. Hope the wife doesn’t mind a bunch of drunk guys raising hell in the back yard

I'm pretty much getting tired of this place so i think I'm going the way of Hunerwadel and 72Vol and I'm going to vacation from here for a few months or more. Adios.

Unfortunately it gets tiresome but you'll be hard pressed to find a safehaven anywhere right now. I got in the car to turn it on music well guess what - it didn't work. I was working - that didn't work. The company innudating email and company website with statements. Church - doubtful though maybe you get to hear it for what it is and that is chaos. Lowes? I've tried that one. Don't get too excited for sports. Might want to say who cares for that one.

I know this is all demoralizing.

Hey, just remember it's legal now to go masked into a bank and ask for money.

Spider talk reminded me of when my dad had open heart surgery way back when. We got him home and the first movie we watched was Arachnophobia, lol. Probably not the best choice for someone who had just had heart surgery.

Yesterday marked 4 years since he past. Still miss him every day.
I was taken to see that movie when I was 9 and it’s 100% the reason I can’t stand spiders. It broke something in my brain.
