Democrats urge delegates to Stay Away from Convention

The Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee will host presumptive nominee Joe Biden — but delegates are encouraged not to attend in person as the party tries to manage holding its marquee event during the coronavirus pandemic.

The convention has been moved from the expansive Fiserv Forum to the much smaller Wisconsin Center, the city’s convention center, where attendees will be capped at 1,000 people, according to three sources with knowledge of the discussions.

‘I’m Tired of Being the Help’

In suburban Detroit, a cookout full of Democratic voters bubbles into outrage, frustration at being taken for granted—and certainty that 2020 is in the bag for Trump.

Dear Washington,

She must have given me the wrong address. At least, that’s what I figured.

‘I’m Tired of Being the Help’

People are stupid!

Anyone could take someone else's ballot and vote for whoever they want and put it back in the mail. Voter fraud made easy!
Yea you can’t just change the vote on Vote by mail ballot after it’s been mailed. They just don’t count it. From 2016-2018 over 14.6 million ballots were examined and only 372 possible cases of double voting or voting on behalf of deceased people. That’s 0.0025%

How bad are things for the 2020 Donald Trump Campaign right now? Even John Solomon's own web site (the one seen here), known as "Just the News" or "justthenews.com", has Joe Biden with a 12 point head to head lead over Donald Trump (48% to 36%) in their latest Presidential General Election National poll which was released on June 15th. Just to emphasize the significance of that, the pollster for "Just the News" is Scott Rasmussen, who has been Trump-friendly over the last 4 years, to say the least.

Nobody gonna talk about the $7.6 million raised by President Obama and Biden yesterday in their online fundraiser? Pretty good haul, paired with the $6ish million Liz pulled in for Biden last week.
'This Is Serious Business,' Obama Urges Democrats On Virtual Biden Fundraiser

At the end of May, Trump had $265M cash on hand compared to $118M for Biden. Honestly, I do not even think ads are that effective and hate the big money spent. Just use cash for your org, events and logistics.

I'm just saying, they raised damn near $8 million in one day. That doesn't scream "nobody cares about Joe" to me. And it was like 175,000 donors, so this isn't big money throwing cash at them.

It was Obama raising much of the money as he has appeal, but I really Do Not Care.

Crooked Hillary had a 12 point lead June 15, 2016. How did that turn out?

There is no question that there is more anti-Trump energy than pro-Biden energy, but who cares? It doesn't really matter. Also, there is no question that Joe Biden needs Barack Obama's help on the campaign trail. There is also no question that Barack Obama has always been a fundraising machine. There isn't much reason for pessimism on the Democratic Party side at the moment. Biden has all the momentum and he hasn't had to lift a finger. Trump's messaging has been unfocused and he is missing a pet project like "build the wall" and a go to applause line like "drain the swamp". More than ever before, I'm convinced that Biden wins, and it may be an electoral college rout. Ohio, Florida, Arizona and North Carolina are all very much in play. If all four go for Biden... then you have your rout.

President Obama is absolutely a force on the campaign and fundraising trail, but I do not like this early optimism from the left. I tell all of my friends the exact opposite. Pretend Biden is down by 20 points until November. Know there will be gerry-mandering and shenanigans. This is going to be much, much closer than the polls show right now.
