We need more reasons for denial of this report, not confirmation.

Then, if it is confirmed, we need information that clearly shows it was a token offer. I'm not sure I understand why Ham would do that other than to make this crazy bunch of pirates around here happy that their man was in charge of turning down an offer to be the WR coach at UT.

Not a big deal, but a Tech win over Oklahoma would actually enhance Texas' BCS chances. It would indeed kill their Big 12 title game hopes, but it would eliminate Oklahoma from at-large BCS discussion.

My bad. I didn't realize how huge this game was for OU, TT, and the other UT. I can't believe the 'Horns are positioned in third place in the BCS. The only caveat is that you have to win your conference to be considered for a shot in the NC game. I had heard that the BIG XII would allow the final regular season BCS rankings then determine which team would represent the B12 south as the tie-breaker between the three schools.

Don't know what you mean. The winner of the Big 12 CG game is the Big 12 champion.
