Black jerseys to be auctioned (merged)

Players like all human beings are capable of coming up with stupid and at the very least questionable ideas:rolleyes:

It would send the proper message if there were more Kentucky fans than Tennessee fans for the BLM love fest or at least have the crowd be 50-50 Tennessee and Kentucky fans.

Of course..☝🏻 you just accomplished this by saying a very dumb idea yourself ....This bothers you so much you want more opposing fans than VOL fans? Hopefully you are just a troll. Either way.. don't go, don't watch. No one cares either way

Nuance and reading comprehension are two things that do not exist on Vol Nation. Or really any social media/discussion-based platform. People saw the phrase "Black Lives Matter" and decided that it was time to get angry.

Honestly, to those that say they are no longer going to support the University of Tennessee and our student athletes over this then good riddance. You were never a fan to begin with if this is what causes you to leave.
Words mean something, especially when they are capitalized as in the name of a radical leftist group. Black Lives Matter is a leftist group. The article used its name. If it had said we are going to donate to black scholarships or something else I would be all for it, but that is not what it said. You are the one who lacks reading comprehension. And you don't use nuance to read because words have very precise meanings, and if they don't someone did not write it correctly unless they are intending to mislead people or have what they wrote have no meaning (if it can mean anything then it means nothing). Your post is a pretty lame spin on what was written. And your statement that if we leave we were never "really" fans is a joke. Standing up for principles is what good folks do.

Pruitt is winning over his player and recruits because he knows what it means to express and advocate for the important statement that BLACK LIVES MATTER! Black lives have been so undervalued by society for so long and it is about time that we all stand up against police brutality, which is experienced to a much larger degree by young black men than it is by any other group.

Any of your racist vol fans who take issue with that can go support Florida, Georgia, or Alabama.

Sounds good. You won't be missed ✌🏻.. Lebron may be a flop baby but he has done a lot for the Ohio community and speaking out on important issues. Real frauds say stuff like "shut up and dribble".
Real frauds bitch about the very rare black guy killed by a white cop yet remain silent about black men who kill other black me or black cops killed by antifa/BLM thugs. Google David Dorn or Patrick Underwood and tell me if baby bron bron said one word about them

There are a hell of a lot of people who are concerned Tennessee is giving money to an Antifa like communist group which BLM most definitely is.

Just skip the BLM black jersey game don't skip all of them

Or we could just not throw a hissy fit. You're one of the people my message is intended for because you've either blatantly chosen to ignore what has been reported or have no intention of having a reasonable discussion. It's been stated numerous times that the money isn't going to the actual Black Lives Matter organization, yet you've made assumptions of your own with comments like the one below just to further support your rage.

With how extremely leftist all public universities are you can count on the money going to BLM:rolleyes:

There are two separate entities. There is Black Lives Matter the organization and there is the slogan "Black Lives Matter" that activists use to discuss making societal changes. Pruitt didn't mean to that the funds would go to the organization, but you already knew that according to the above post you just chose to ignore it.

It's been reported by multiple people in the local Knoxville media that Pruitt didn't mean BLM the organization. But I actually did research into the issue rather than read one report. Be angry at the article if you want, but your anger at Pruitt and UT is misplaced.

The money will go to BLM the communist organization and you're really naïve if you think it wont

This is good news if true.

I think it would be terrific for UT to use those jerseys to help worthy young black kids. They could make it better by naming it the David Dorn Memorial Scholarship.... for a man worthy of our lament and respect.
