I will say many had the same mindset about Walker, Springer and Johnson...those were the Top 3 on the staffs board and they went 3/3It's an extremely exciting thought, and I would love to see it happen. But landing all 4 of those players seems unlikely. I'll be happy if we just land 1 and thrilled and if we land two of them.
Idk about 2 of them, but I agree with your overall point...without him I don’t think we have much chance on any of them, with him and we are in it for all of them.It all depends on Kennedy Chandler. If he comes, I bet Tennessee gets at least two of them.
Would be 4 of the rivals Top 10...not sure how many times that has ever been done.
I was curious about that too. It's technically only happened once. In 2013 Kentucky signed 4 of the top 9, and 5 of the top 11 (Julius Randle, Andrew Harrison, Aaron Harrison, Dakari Johnson, and James Young).
Duke came really close twice. In 2016 they signed 4 of the top 12. And in 2018, they signed 3 of the top 5, and 4 of the top 14 (the year with RJ Barrett, Zion, Reddish, and Tre Jones).
Kentucky had a few other years of getting 3 of the top 10.
I'm ready to get hurt.Wow. Obviously I don’t predict us going 4/4, but pretty crazy to think about where that class would rank all time if it were to happen.
Interesting note I realized while doing some searching, Ingram took his UOV the same time as Walker, Johnson and Springer also took their visit to UT. So he has met those guys and I would assume has had some sort of contact with them.
Was the Michigan fab 5 before the current ranking system?I was curious about that too. It's technically only happened once. In 2013 Kentucky signed 4 of the top 9, and 5 of the top 11 (Julius Randle, Andrew Harrison, Aaron Harrison, Dakari Johnson, and James Young).
