Ricky, I don't think it's a DUH at all. If he's passed out drunk, how in the world did he get away from two of them. I think that's crazy.
What I just saw on TV (attorneys) said the police had his ID and his car.
Edit: just saw other post you made. I assumed when it said DUI, it was alcohol.

Just because someone is drunk or high doesn’t automatically make them easy to take into custody. And the guy fought them, could have had other weapons, and assaulted them both and shot one of them with a taser. The guy is textbook felons who is a danger to himself and others

I think it's fascinating that two supposedly well trained cops weren't able to hold onto their tasers and non lethally subdue someone who was seconds earlier passed out drunk. It's pretty clear that they had no clue how to competently do their jobs. I wonder how many more there are out there.

It’s fascinating, though unsurprising, that a supposedly “good” citizen wasn’t able to abstain from drunk driving and refrain from stealing/using an officer’s taser. It’s pretty clear that he had no clue how to competently exist in polite society, and I wonder how many more just like him there are out there.
