George Floyd Protest/Riots

hjeagle1vol is a good guy. He has been nice to me... but I have a feeling he knew what he was doing with that "Justice for George" sarcasm on the top of the re-tweet. As you pointed out, it doesn't take much of a search to uncover when that vandalism took place and who was responsible for it.

I didn’t and my bad. I was on the move and didn’t look close enough. It happens and I’ll own the mistake.

No, never shot somebody in the back as they ran from me either.

At the eight second mark in this video, the suspect clearly points (and perhaps uses, though that’s hard to discern from the the footage) stolen taser at the officers. Regardless of whether or not a taser is lethal, you deserve whatever happens to you when you pull a stunt like that.

Rayshard had just started turning his life around. He was obvious asleep in his car due to pulling an all nighter the night before while writing his doctoral dissertation on nuclear fission.

Well that video proves that he was running from the police when they shot him.

Guessing you’ve never fought someone or used a taser before
Yep..... it is extremely to subdue someone even if they are much smaller than you...... my funniest one ever was a female shop lifter at wal mart throwing two cops around for about 15-20 minutes.

Yet, in the middle of fleeing the crime scene, this upstanding citizen made a point to (at the very least) target these officers with a stolen weapon.

Face it, another thug bit off a bit more than he could chew and now our streets are a little safer as a result.

You are exactly right, and the people who are re-tweeting this right now are being very misleading. They are in most cases implying, or even coming right out and lying that this vandalism was recent and that it was perpetrated by a member of the "Black Lives Matter" movement. That is being done to try and halt some of the momentum and legitimacy that it has begun to take on. Nobody helps their cause through violence or vandalism, and nobody helps their own cause through dishonesty either. The truth always comes to the surface.
Now..... you are worried about things being misleading?

He pointed a non-lethal weapon rearward as he tried to escape. I think that hardly justifies shooting him, especially in a crowded parking lot in an urban area.

And again, if these two cops were slightly competent then the guy never would have acquired the taser in the first place.

I guess we need cops like you would be.
