George Floyd Protest/Riots

You're genuinely posting like this, and demanding that we not respond as though you're stupid? You make it hard.

(A) I didn't post that.
(B) he may be running for president, care, and do it anyway.
(C) he may be held at gunpoint by Hillary Clinton, who made him schedule it.
(D) shape-shifting demon spawns will actually hold the rally, and Trump has nothing to do with it.

The thing is that you gave two options as the only possible options, and excluded the infinite number of conceivable options that may disprove your point. That is the very definition of an excluded middle.

If you don't want to be responded to as though you're stupid, you have some responsibility in making that happen.

First of all, you're confusing false dilemma with law of excluded middle. Second of all you've still given me no reasonable alternative.

Stupid and he doesn't care or trying to fan the flames of violence. I appreciate your sentiment and generally I would like to agree but I'm stickin to it lol
Everyone is entitled. I try not to get mixed up in media and trump because it's just a big grudge match. I know the trump rallies are really underrated and demonized by the media it doesn't help when trump goes on a positive adjective roll that's overstated. They antagonize the crap out of each other. I guess for some it's entertainment, It's worn out.
And I wonder what is silently being done in the background? While we are all agape n such at the rivalry.

For the record, if he is "running for president, cares, and do[es] it anyway" then he is knowingly fanning the flames of violence which would fall into the second category.

A thought I just had and thought it very important given the current climate in the US. Why is it not possible to have an intellectual discourse regarding race, racial tensions and the latest events? It always devolves into a debate of emotion and anecdotal evidence. Hopefully in the coming months this can take place but I fear with the presidential election coming up that will be impossible in the short term.
You said the key word....emotions.

Personally I really don't like Trump. I think he's an agitator. However generally I agree with what you're saying. People started watching reality TV and now we have reality TV politics. It's all about the ratings ratings ratings. CNN, NBC, FOX, they're all bad about it. If we were talking about something other than racial issues at this moment I think we'd probably agree on some things and that goes for a lot of the people here. There's probably a gold mine waiting for a news outlet in America that ONLY talks news in an unbiased manner.

It seems like unless there is mass death in another country the world news doesn't exist in prime time. It's all political commentary. It's fine to consider commentary, but when they become cheerleaders I'm out.
Tel a vision= what we want you to see.

The Dems seem to be harping on the same issues for 60 years. They have been in control of about all cities for decades. Chicago has 50 Wards, represented by 46 Dem Councilmen and 4 Independents, yet they keep trying to tell their constituents that the Republicans are the problem, even though there isn't even one Republican in any position of power in Chicago city government. Could it be that they want the issue rather than the solution?

The Daily’s Chicago train is still chugging right along🤦‍♀️

My question and 72 touched on the subject, why do black people feel tied to the democratic party? From the outside looking in the Democrats have done little to nothing for black people except use them for their votes.

It’s generational, all the way back to the Democrats forming the KKK.

The Klan were killing and threatening Black Republican Congressman, their families and white Republican supporters. In order to save themselves and their families from the Klan, the black Republicans had to agree to become Democrats and they’ve been kept on the Democrats plantation ever since.
