"Bad cops" that have a record of things that make them "bad cops" are subject to a background check before they are hired on by another agency and they sign a waiver allowing prior employers to disclose their records. It astounds me that another agency would take on a known problem that they have been made aware of because of the vicarious liability and negligent hiring/retention issues that are part and parcel of their baggage if they take them on.

If you are not aware, there is a chronic shortage of qualified and experienced candidates to fill vacant law enforcement positions. Many agencies struggle to maintain minimum staffing/ shift coverage.

Why it may be increasingly hard to find police officers

Police staffing shortages a nationwide trend

Law Enforcement, Healthcare workers, and teachers are three professions that people really need to pay attention to in terms of full staffing.

I think you are hitting on the issue. Cops are human beings, being asked to go into the flaming cauldron over and over, night after night, year after year. At some point, they are subject to PTSD. Why is this not recognized and dealt with? Maybe they should be taken off the line for a year or two after receiving X number of complaints.

But no. It was an opportunity for a race baiting POS "reverend" to take a national stage, not tt talk about someone that he didn't give 2 ***** about until he saw his opportunity to be relevant again, and talk about Colin Kaperdick. It is much easier to vilify all cops rather than see then as human beings, especially when it furthers the divide the left so badly needs.

The enablers love to bash the police and the white man for holding them down but wouldn’t switch careers with them or volunteer their time to actually improve the lives of the young African American males they so “passionately support”. Their idea of making great changes is kneeling while someone is watching or going for a walk in the streets.

You couldn’t pay me enough to be a cop right now with the enablers and perpetually triggered white guilters looking for any reason to attack you.

But you do see it happen. If it was public, Chauvin may not be an officer and certainly wouldnt be a training officer.

Shortages are fixed by higher pay.

What are your thoughts on the tour idea?

The problem is that it was already "on the way" to being bad from early 90s to last decade because:

-The rise in mental illness and the lack of social services for these type of calls which put officers in very violent situations when these people shouldn't even be out on the streets
-The encouragement of homelessness especially in major cities for $$ purposes, and since some are mentally ill fall into the issue mentioned above.
-The continued push to de-emphasize the importance of family, church, and other social factors in the name of "feminism, tolerance, etc:"
-The opioid crisis which was caused by variety of factors (fed government, doctors, drug addicts, big pharm, etc) and this caused a severe public health crisis which upped the calls for service for police, fire and EMS by three times as much
-The 1980s-1990s gang wars and fight for the control of crack, heroin, meth and weed in some areas caused a rise in Gang related violence, especially in mid to large cities
-The continued opposition of police by the media and certain politicians for political reasons
-The rise in social media which while a good thing to bring to light certain bad incidents, has also led to a variety of incidents where people can't simply understand police procedures or law, or even worse make up stories about what happened (i.e. michael brown) to push a false narrative that thousands of idiots believe
-the severe polarization of politics in the US today, which had started in it's modern form around the early 90s, but devolved into a "if i don't agree with you politically, you should be fired or punched" mentality today.

You are correct and none of those issues can be fixed by throwing money at them, kneeling, or removing Confederate statues from court houses. It’s almost as if those in charge don’t want the problems to be fixed and have millions of dependent voters.

You think anyone is taking the time to think up a good reform plan while they’re kneeling in contemplation?
No, so it’s just another insulting empty gesture from people who been there for decades ignoring the problem.

I'm just wondering what are the chances one of those old farts did fart going down or trying to get back up. During the video you got several people looking around like "is it over yet or how long are we going to stay down here?"

The only smart one was Nadler, he knew those knees would both pop if he got down on the floor .

Did you read the article? Says he was "afraid and intimidated by black people." He probably thought he could get away with killing him b.c he was black and he'd gotten away with stuff before. He'd had 18 complaints previously.

Also the dude who deleted his account probably did so because of all the death threats he was receiving from Infowars subscribers.
None of that is first degree. Unless there is evidence saying DC wanted to murder him prior to the confrontation, then first degree won't stick. If you want him to walk then stick with first degree.

The traditional Republican positions with this whole thing are fascinating.
Big government = No. Big Police = Yes.
Unions = No. Police Unions = Yes.
Gov reform = Yes. Police reform = No.
2A protects from Gov tyranny = Yes. Actual Gov tyranny = No armed resistance.

Stealing it. Did you totally invent this or did you hear it (or something similar) elsewhere

What you are about to see is part of a two year undercover investigation into the leftist radicalization imbedded within the climate justice movement that contributed to the riots in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this first video, we are going to show how the Sunrise Movement played a preemptive role in carrying out the mayhem to further push their Green New Deal agenda and promoting the abolition of the police.
