I liked the Fighter and the Batman movies. He was pretty good in American Hustle too. I guess he's not a bad actor, I just don't like him for some reason. Kinda like Dustin Hoffman.
he's a doosh because of the epic video that surfaced of him going on an extreme rant against a production assistant on one of his movies he was filming. Don't remember which one. He came across as a total dick

Jerk Chicken Recipe

Its Tl;Dr so I tagged it with spoiler so TFG or anyone else don't have to be bothered with it. Just my ramblings about Jerk.

Ive always liked her regardless of her affiliation with Flay boy. I hate Jerk anything, but only because it has always challenged me and many people think they have it right, and they don't.

IMO its like if some Jamaicans decided they were gonna do authentic American BBQ, and did it Memphis style. Seriously. Yea I'm bustin on TFG but what if the Jamaicans that were having it had eaten Texas style or Carolina style? And what if they cooked it in the oven instead of smoking it? Or used Cattleman's BBQ sauce? Like our BBQ, Jerk ain't just a seasoning or sauce, its a process.

Anyway, tifwiw. Make sure you use "Ground Allspice". There are spices in the spice section called Allspice and it aint the same. I'm not sure what she got going on with that recipe, but IMO it needs 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon added. I appreciate her mention of the pimento wood, that can be that "umph" that's usually missing. Pimento pellets are available here at Home Depot, so are wood chips.

I have a recipe I've used for a sauce. I use a seasoning for the meat and leave it on overnight, then cook it in a red stripe, pineapple juice and ketchup sauce....yea I know, blah blah blah. I still won't eat it on a hot dog.

There's my thoughts. Enjoy whatever you do.

I make that recipe because I like it. It's not sweet and the spice flavor comes through nicely. I cook it on charcoal and will look for pimento chips at Lowes today, thanks for the suggestion. I buy all spice berries and grind them myself. I keep them in the freezer to preserve best I can. Give that recipe a try but make sure to use charcoal and the wood chips. I tried mine on the Traeger and can't get the good char that I can get on the charcoal grill.

Appreciate your opinion.
