2020 Presidential Race

I'm not sure why this is being covered as a surprise. It makes perfect sense that the unemployment rate would have gone down since April but that isn't from job creation. It's from people returning from furloughs.
That’s not correct. Furloughed workers wouldn’t count in unemployment statistics because they’re not actively looking for work. They’re just waiting for their employer to bring them back.

All of them? One or two? Which ones and in what context?

This is the kind of imprecision that ruins political dialogue: Breezily ascribing to an entire party, or its entire leadership, some sentiment easily attacked.

I admit I've done the same thing from time to time with the GOP and will endeavor to stop.
QFTR.

I bet you dont even go two full days.

I don't think that is accurate at all... They certainly can still be looking for work, I was when I was furloughed, but will check.

Joe Biden says 10-15% of Americans 'are not very good people' during discussion on race with actor Don Cheadle - sparking memories of Hillary Clinton's Costly 2016 election Gaffe

Vice President Joe Biden said in a discussion of the George Floyd killing that a large substantial share of Americans are not 'very good people' – as he tried to condemn President Trump but potentially opened himself up to attack.

'There are probably anywhere from 10 to 15 percent of the people out there that are just not very good people,' Biden said in an online discussion with actor Don Cheadle Thursday.

'The words a president says matter. So when a president stands up and divides people all the time, you're going to get the worst of us to come out. The worst insult to com out.' Biden said.

'There are probably anywhere from 10 to 15 per cent of the people out there that are just not very good people. But that's not who we are. The vast majority of the people are decent, and we have to appeal to that and we have to unite people — bring them together,' Trump said.

His remarks recalled a gaffe by Hillary Clinton during the 2016 elections, where she said half of Trump's supporters could be put in a 'basket of deplorables.' It was a comment that the Trump campaign was able to weaponize as the candidates were battling it out in critical swing states, and that Clinton had to walk back.

She had said half of then-candidate Trump's supporters were 'racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic.' She later condemned her 'generalistic' statement as well as her math.

“Last night I was ‘grossly generalistic,’ and that's never a good idea. I regret saying ‘half’ — that was wrong," she said in September.

Clinton had made the remark days earlier at a campaign gala in New York City. Trump immediately made hay out of it, tweeting: 'Wow, Hillary Clinton was SO INSULTING to my supporters, millions of amazing, hard working people. I think it will cost her at the Polls!'

Trump supporters soon embraced the term, and some started up showing up campaign rallies with 'deplorables' signs.

I actually think it can be either way so they might be in the numbers and might not. I don’t think there’s any way to tell for sure without getting into the details.

And anyone should be able to acknowledge that saying it doesn't necessarily mean they desire an economic collapse.
I agree, but it’s one of those things for a Presidential candidate that it’s dangerous to even flirt with saying out loud.

Its in the context of race rations and I'd say his estimate seems reasonable to me in that respect. No way to prove it because people will not admit to that character flaw.

That really doesn't mean anything but you can't ignore the polls in states such as Arizona and Ohio. Biden doesn't even need to win those states.
Considering they don’t build big building in Vegas cause they want a certain party to win, I’d tKe my chance with someone’s who’s profession is to make money from the right pick over talking heads or semi accurate polls. A foolish person ignores professionals.
If you want to see how good they are just pull up their over and under prediction from last year and how the teams finished. They are correct more times than wrong. For a good reason.

But you realize that oddsmakers aren't making predictions, right? They set lines where they believe there will be an equal amount of wagering on both sides and then adjust those lines as the bets come in.

Can't believe our two options are Biden and Trump. Shocking really.

Honest question.....

In 2020 what person who is open minded and moderate has a shot to win a primary party?

I say none.

Both parties want the other party to burn and any rhetoric otherwise will get you booted out.
