2020 Presidential Race

There was an article posted here from Politico with quotes and everything. Dismay at a report from a Dem economist that the recovery would be soon and quick.
Then you should post a link to it. Not buying it. And a pundit, is not a Democratic Party leader either. I'm talking about elected leaders in Congress.

If Joe backs the #DefundThePolice movement, you have to think that’ll impact him negatively. Not everyone shares those views with the small, albeit loud liberal cancel culture sect of America.

Also, one has to wonder the economic impact of these major cities who do defund or as in Minneapolis, “dismantle” the police force. Who in their right mind wants to go visit some place without security?

you should have read it when posted or do some research.

buy what you want - you do anyway.
Seriously? That was a bold claim, to not have anything to support it with when called out on it. I think you are probably referring to some pundits and analysts as being "Democratic leaders" and that is crap.

Yeah it's all about Trump except you know I said the same things about Obama's numbers. The ue numbers are trash honestly. They are always manipulated for political gain so if he's going to brag about them then take the hit when it tanks
It goes both ways...did CNN give Trump credit when AA UR was at all time low?

It was posted here and discussed. Look it up or don't; I don't care.

I'm sure you can point to some article with quotes that a strong recovery would help Trump's chances of re-election and hurt the Democrats. I'm saying that your claim that a "Democratic leader" is on record saying that a strong economic recovery would hurt them is crap. You are referring to analysts and television pundits as being "Democratic leaders". They aren't.

Interesting turn recently. Sportsbook odds to win

Biden -125
DT +110

This is a change where DT has been the fav for quite some time

sure, right after you show that the job gains were all just people returning after 1 month furloughs.

That really doesn't mean anything but you can't ignore the polls in states such as Arizona and Ohio. Biden doesn't even need to win those states.

I saw that last week. RCP does an average of the where the money is. Trump was up about 9 points; now down about 3. (49.3 - 46.3)

They were... I can't believe that you are actually suggesting otherwise. That is ignorant.

The shutdown has been about 3 months not 1 BTW. Your claim is saying all the 2.5 million jobs were the same people returning to the same job after being furloughed for 1 month. Should be a link for that.

Agreed but Democratic leaders are on record as saying that the economy getting better is bad for them.

All of them? One or two? Which ones and in what context?

This is the kind of imprecision that ruins political dialogue: Breezily ascribing to an entire party, or its entire leadership, some sentiment easily attacked.

I admit I've done the same thing from time to time with the GOP and will endeavor to stop.

No not all of them and I didn't ascribe it to an entire party or it's entire leadership.

Pretty close to it... more like between 6 to 8 weeks rather than just 1 month, though.
