I have been through many many interviews in several professions, i have sat in on HR conducted interviews as well. I have never once in my life ever seen a candidate for a job dismissed because of his race. How would YOU know if a hiring manager "thinks someone is not a good fit soley due to his race"To this specifically. If a hiring manager thinks someone is not a good fit solely due to race it is racist.
The top factors for hiring (depending on the field) usually involves:
- Dependability/Reliability
- Experience
- Education
- Willingness to take Coaching
- Works well with others
- Intelligence/Problem Solving skills
- Communication/Personality
- Other specific skills (bilingual, computer skills, etc)
