That kind of thinking is why change is so hard to achieve. Welcome to being the problem that needs to be fixed.
He's either a human who has put the least amount of original thought into his posts than any other human, or a bot that has put the most amount of original thought into his posts than any other bot.No problem with his posts, but I’ve often wondered what led him here.
Yes, I’ve lived through all the riots since the 60’s. There has been no leadership to cease these Events from occurring . Politicians looking to be re-elected (LBJ) enacted legislation that was mis directed to offer a helping hand in a manner that turned out to be enabling rather than helpful. You think it’s better right now? . I don’t. Starting with Rodney King it just got quieter. Quieter has not been better it’s just more intense festering underneath. More legislation helped minorities become first time house buyers to the criticism of white America Structured violence against blacks finally got news print as opposed to earlier black men who were dragged off to their death behind pick up trucks never to be seen or heard of again. But until white Americans decide they have to be part of the solution there will be no solution. Unarmed black men will continue to have their lives snuffed out by rogue cops
Politicians will continue to be part of the problem and not Part of the solution. William Barr will continue to enable Trump by dispersing legally demonstrating folks so Trump could first threaten to sic the military on Americans in their own states ( an illegal act). The demonstrators were hit with tear gas and rubber bullets so Trump could have his picture tsken holding a Bible in front of the “Presidents” church
And those “plants” you proudly show with a pix and imply they are not? You have no facts whether they are or are not, IMO. Your citing your opinion based on your historical observation. My reference to plants was the example of the two white female attorney’s one of whom has been arrested 11 times now for attending these events using a peaceful demonstrator As a shield and while standing behind them and throwing stuff at the cops
The cops know this. But, You’ll never see it discussed by Hannity or Limbaugh or reported by Brietbart, Fox New, the Washington Examiner the NY Post
As Vince Lombardi said .... if you’re not part of the solution - you’re part of the problem
I was talking about the protestor who lit st Johns on fire, you don't think he came back for secondies? My guess is there were some who showed up for several days in a row. What are you talking about? The protestors that were moved before the POTUS photo op were not the ones who burned it down the night before
My neighbor boarded at McCallie in the mid-late 90's. He got robbed downtown at gunpoint. He came back home and showed me a pellet gun he had bought. I asked what it was for. He said the next time someone points a gun at me I'll be ready. I said dude then they would just kill you.Man, that is brave. Friend and I got lost in Chattanooga back in early 90s around Howard/St Elmo. Wasn't a fun time.
I think only reason we weren't shot was they figured two white guys around there at dark were looking to buy drugs.
I try not to and even denounced this in another thread, but have you heard of Fall Cabal. I keep trying to say no way its not possible, but the more this goes on the more my mind tries to lead me down that road.Even being in Minneapolis where the DNC convention is odd. Not likely related, but still.
Between that and the passive aggressive virtue signaling, it’s just about impossible to have a conversation. As long as people refuse to try and understand where the other side, whatever that other side might be, is coming from, change is near impossible. The idea that any opinion but your own is idiotic is what is truly tone deaf. Most people don't pull opinions out of thin air. There are reasons behind them, and reasons have meaning. Change comes through understanding, and you can't expect change if you refuse to understand yourself. You can't fight ignorance with ignorance.
