Here in America, though, we absolutely do overcharge and you don’t walk of you win on the overcharge. The jury gets to consider lesser crimes as well.
Concerning the ugly concept of racism. I bet there is not one white man on this board that will walk down the street of a black neighborhood.
It should be apparent I'm talking about walking on an overcharge. The jury gets to consider charges the prosecutor introduces; right now that is Murder 2 and Man.
It was dumb to upgrade the charge and aid/abet the other three. Unless Chauvin is on record saying "I'm going to kill this MF" or acknowledging the guy is going to die if he continues knee restraint - and the other three know it - prosecution should lose badly.

The infuriating part is there ARE broken aspects of the justice system.Well it has to be. Use of data would show how fraudulent their cause is.
