Floyd’s lawyer is on Fox saying he died of strangulation, damn liar. He was saying he couldn’t breathe before the cop buried his knee into his neck.

I wonder if there will be a guilty plea of some sort and no trial?

I could see a plea deal that has some prison time but in exchange the Feds don't bring civil rights charges.

I heard something interesting about white privilege yesterday... the African-American male that was complaining about it stated..... white privilege is used by whites that think they are superior and by black people that think they are inferior.

I didn't say ask them. I mean, how many bad, racist cops are there? You don't have to answer, it isn't some gotcha question.

But the answer is importent. If I started a national protest against pedophiles, everyone would probably think that is pretty dumb. Why? Everyone agrees pedophillia is awful. It is reflected in our moral fabric and our legal system already. Even pedophiles know what they are doing is wrong. No amount of protesting or awareness will make pedophiles go away.

Now, that isn't a great analogy. There are absolutely things police departments can do to make interactions with citizens safer, 100%. The problem is the complete bait and switch we are being fed on this narrative. We are told "America is a fundamentally corrupt failed social experiment that has always been and will always be racist, and black people are being hunted in the streets by police." And when you push back on that narrative and say it is a provable lie, you are fed with the minutia of ultimately minor policies and details that support the narrative that our criminal justice system is kind of flawed.

I absolutely will not act like there's no harm in telling black kids the lie that they will be hunted in the street because of their skin color. Won't do it.

I dont think graffiti is a Rambo situation.

Fire bombing a business or home though is deadly and if someone was trying to burn my home down I would shoot them.

Tag my car all you want though. Its replaceable.

And now he’s getting cancelled. Never mind what he did for the city of New Orleans post Katrina and everything else he’s done since then. He said he didn’t agree with kneeling and he explained what the flag meant so now people think he’s racist. It’s ridiculous.

You haven't been watching much coverage, have you? **** 12 is slang for **** the police. Similar to ACAB.

It's being tagged all over the place by protesters.

Firebombing, sure. I can see that. Smashing windows and wanton destruction of public property doesn't warrant taking a life. However, that's the response a lot of people, including quite a few on this board's remedial reading group, are calling for.

Police Body Cam Vid Shows 'Execution' of Daniel Shaver, Officer Found Not Guilty

Warning: Video in the link is pretty disturbing.

I post this for two reasons.

1. This is about 100x worse than the Floyd murder. The way the police talked to him, the attitude, the execution, everything. Had this been a black man our country would be literally burning right now.

2. We have got to do something about police training, militarization, self-policing from the police...something. Look at this video, it is flat murder. Inscribed on his AR-15 was the words “Your ****ed”.

This police officer was found not guilty.

Infuriating. Black, white, red, whatever...this **** has to stop. I’m sure we will still have our resident police apologetics in saying the justice system worked here and this cop was justified in everything.

I wouldn't shoot somebody trying to tag my car... I'd just watch them play with my 80lb pitbull and pour a drink.
