George Floyd Protest/Riots

That's what CNN & others tell low hanging gullible fruit like you to believe. You fell hook line & sinker too.
Again .... it wasn't tear gas. It's fake news for dummies to believe that it really happened. Smoke bomb.

The Rev. Gini Gerbasi is a rector at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Georgetown, about two miles from where police cleared out peaceful protesters to create space for President Donald Trump on Monday evening.

“I am shaken, not so much by the taste of tear gas and the bit of a cough I still have, but by the fact that that show of force was for a PHOTO OPPORTUNITY,” Gerbasi said on Facebook. “The patio of St. John's, Lafayette square had been HOLY GROUND today. A place of respite and laughter and water and granola bars and fruit snacks. But that man turned it into a BATTLE GROUND first, and a cheap political stunt second.”

They started using tear gas and folks were running at us for eyewashes or water or wet paper towels,” Gerbasi said. “At this point, Julia, one of our seminarians for next year (who is a trauma nurse) and I looked at each other in disbelief. I was coughing, her eyes were watering, and we were trying to help people as the police - in full riot gear - drove people toward us.”

I fully expect it. If the extra 600 from unemployment wasn't coming my way I would be screwed
I'm essential but we dont have the business to justify keeping all of us there much longer. We depend heavily on the car manufacturing industry and they're still shut down.

I hate to hear that, I really hope things work out for you.
The place I work at technically never closed we just didnt have the business and 90% of staff was laid off

Hey man, whatever you need to tell your self to sleep at night. LOL, "honoring the church..."

He threw the priests out.

Big Bad Orange man ...... throwing priests out of a church. Really. You're like a 10 yo & will believe anything.
I used to think you were a very smart person but you have disappointed me a lot here lately with your dumbness.

Different day champ, try to keep up. Your narrative is dying on the vine, any last words?
Yeah no ****. Have you been paying attention? Riots for days and the protesters are always “peaceful” until they’re not. The police had them dispersed w smoke bombs not tear gas. Again, you seem more bothered by Trump walking over to pay respect to the Church than the fact it was lit on fire. Sad

If you’re going to twist the timeline you might as well go big:

“Trump walked over there to put the fire out.”
I’m not twisting anything. The church was lit on fire by “peaceful protesters”. You wouldn’t know that watching CNN. They claimed other reporters were lying about it being on fire and then when it actually was, ignored it.

If we can get the two political parties to quit with the proxy wars/power struggles we will be ok. They've done enough damage this year. I will never in my life vote for another D or R candidate as long as I live. I truly do believe they are stoking the unrest and have worked to create some of these problems.

Yep. The lockdown + political warfare= what we have now..... I usually vote R, but its more voting against D then it is voting for R

I disappoint you now? OHNOES.

I guess Reverend Gerbasi is a liar, I mean, you'd know since you were there.

Yes, it is. Post all the fake lying news you got. It's still a lie that you believe as real. Monkey see .... monkey do.

Haha, oh that’s hilarious. Same people who fell for the Russia collusion hoax lecturing us on fake news.

They used some pepper balls which is not tear gas.

If it's your implication that I'm more concerned with trump using force against american's exercising their 2a Rights over an extinguished fire, you're right. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to confirm your suspicion.

Also, it was tear gas as was confirmed by a Reverend on the scene.. Come to terms with the fact that hannity lied to you.

Yeah, the Dems are doing a great job of tearing that apart too. Thanks for the reminder.
You seem pretty cool with 1A rights being infringed upon. Protestors aren’t looters. Empower the cops to arrest looters. Don’t infringe on the 1A. If you believe differently then you have the same thought process as gun grabbers after a school shooting.

@Purple Tiger

Yes or no, the "dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, as well as strong regimentation of society...." fits EXACTLY what antifa does at their protests? Are they against free speech/differing views? Absolutely? Do they want chaos, violence, and death? Pretty obvious from the last few days. So you can all it whatever want with the made up "far-right" crap. but Antifa is actually communism, facism and Nazi methods rolled into one.

What my guy? That is crazy crazy.

Bigun is closer to it than you or Purp.

Fascism is indistinguishable from socialism except fascist government controls the means of production, distribution, pricing and wages while leaving businesses in the hands of the owners who know how to run them; the state controls the owner and often nationalizes uncooperative businesses. In socialism, Ivan tosses the keys to the plant to cousin Igor who proceeds to run it into the ground and ensure there are vast shortages of critical goods, food being an excellent example.

It is a distinction without a difference, and the left never ceases to make idiots of themselves by going through contortions to do just that.

Antifa are violent, anti-Western dregs that walk and quack just like Brown and Blackshirts. And yes, there is a strong element of anarchism and socialism/communism among them, it is hardly a secret. In fact, the defining characteristic of anarchism and communism (Marxist) is a stateless society, where we all barter, horse trade, write poems and live harmoniously until those trying to barter finger paintings for a side of beef begin starving, and some "man of the people" promises to save them.

Well, hey, that sounds similar to socialism! Damn skippy it does. That's because socialism it not conceived as a permanent economic (thus societal) state, but a transition to communism from capitalism. The commie "Hey, I can just work in my garden all day and give my neighbor a head or two of cabbage, and he'll give me a chicken!" utopia sounds better than the "You will be assigned a garden plot to work, and you will have cabbage apportioned to you. Someday you will have chicken." socialist utopia.

Fascist leaders have typically seen themselves as the evolution of socialism, eschewing the cumbersome, unmanageable internationalist model of socialism for an efficient and practical nationalist model. And they were right. Fascism was a far more successful form of socialism, dramatically and quickly improving the lives of German citizens in contrast to other implementations.

In practicality, the difference between international socialism and national socialism, is that you'd much rather be a fascist citizen.

Has anyone bothered to mention if the protesters at Lafayette were asked to move locations before physically being moved?
