I think it means they have to prove that you didn't have the gun on you by accident, and you had the stick/gun on you for potential use as a weapon. i.e. You were transporting the gun, or the stick was a walking stick?

This court has observed that "the necessary intent to support a conviction for carrying a weapon with the intent to go armed may be proved by the circumstances surrounding the carrying of the weapon." Cole v. State, 539 S.W.2d 46, 49 (Tenn. Crim. App. 1976). Here, the evidence established that the defendant placed a loaded handgun into a cooler and then placed the cooler on the front seat of his vehicle. The defendant acknowledged that he carried the weapon for the purpose of defending himself. Under these circumstances, the evidence was sufficient to support the defendant's conviction of carrying a firearm with the intent to go armed. See Mathis v. State, 566 S.W.2d 285, 287 (Tenn. Crim. App. 1977) (finding evidence sufficient for conviction where officers found two loaded firearms in the back floorboard of Mathis's car).

Wharves coverage is standard iso on most bop or cpp policies.

The r is riot.

There are exceptions if it is not written on iso paper such as beazley or Lloyd's syndicate but most will have coverege.

It's the business income side where they will get hosed as insurance companies are notorious for cutting corners here.

3 black cops have died so far in the riots, by my count. We are 33% the way to matching all the unjust killings of black men from the entire previous year in 3 days. All in the name of preventing the unjust killings of black men.

It's really starting to look like Biden is going to win. That's who I would bet on to win, anyway. I'll put this as candidly as I can. I hope his team understands the gravity of the state of this country. Anyone saying these riots are happening because of 300 years of racism just happened to pop off now is full of it. These riots are happening because the people have been fed a narrative that the United States is so foul and evil that it is beyond civil recourse. I hope Joe's puppeteers and the MSM fully comprehend what that means. You can't encourage a narrative like that and then say "But it's all good. Just vote for me and it will be fine." You guys are part of the foul and evil system too, stupid.

Anyway, that's enough. Reading the stuff on here and Twitter is really starting to piss me off, so I'm gonna detox from the Politics forum for a while. Peace.

Speaking of Twitter and FB. Local restaurant put out some bland "we love everyone " message on Fb. Of course they were intimidated into an apology.

I have to hope these are just vocal minorities. That people like me and my wife are silent because we know it isnt worth getting into it on FB. If not, if this is truly the majority of folks, we are done.

FWIW, shortly after the guy in the case I quoted was arrested the TN legislature carved out an exception that extended the castle doctrine to automobiles. So he would have been fine if he had been arrested like 2 years later.

TBH when I posted the story, I had a vision in my head of armed protestors in Nashville a few weeks ago, but as far as I can tell from looking at freedom rally pictures, that didn’t happen.

I guess what I'm wondering is if this guy arrested in chattanooga would have been within the law if he had a concealed carry permit.

One thing I did forget to mention though ...if this gets deamed terrorist activity that all gets thrown out the window.

Then they are screwed cause A triaa is garbage coverage and B most people like tattoo shops or vape stores that are surplus lines dont go with it due to cost so they are f'd.

Either way many will never come back.
