George Floyd Protest/Riots

Better definition and you lose immediately:

Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultra-nationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, as well as strong regimentation of society and of the economy which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.
Yes or no, the "dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, as well as strong regimentation of society...." fits EXACTLY what antifa does at their protests? Are they against free speech/differing views? Absolutely? Do they want chaos, violence, and death? Pretty obvious from the last few days. So you can all it whatever want with the made up "far-right" crap. but Antifa is actually communism, facism and Nazi methods rolled into one.

Once again duh. The only reason that common sense thought needs to be expressed is as a way to cry about the black lives matter movement.

I find it common sense that black lives matter. Evidently you dont, since you feel the need to expressly say it. Using your logic.

We live in a world of idiots. Literally no one is saying that officer shouldnt be arrested. So who are we arguing with when we say black lives matter? Is there someone saying they dont?

Are there not whites, Latinos, asians, etc that unjustly see lives lost? Are these cultures just not as easily given over to victimhood?

What my guy? That is crazy crazy.

Just passing this along to our Gallatin folks: I received a text from a family member saying that there may be a protest at Gallatin Square tonight at 5:30. Given how a number of protests have turned out, it may be wise to avoid that area tonight

Heard about that. Also heard that the little pecker head organizing it is about to have a life changing bad day.

Obviously its not common sense therefore the movement. Then racists who want to minimize the need for the movement cry about "all lives matter"

You are doing it here. Good job following the playbook.

New York Times changes its front page after being ripped for being too fair to Trump in coverage of threat to use the military in U.S. cities

The New York Times on Monday night changed its front page headline after the first edition was derided as 'possibly one of the worst headlines ever written'.

With America reeling from six nights of protest in response to the killing of George Floyd, and with Donald Trump having taken to the Rose Garden on Monday night to announce he would send in the military to U.S. cities if rioting continued, the editors were under pressure to capture the moment.

The paper chose to focus on Trump's words, with the headline: 'As the chaos spreads, Trump vows to "end it now"'.

The New York Times was strongly criticized on Monday night for the headline in its paper

Jon Lovett, a former Obama speechwriter turned podcaster, said the headline was insulting

The online backlash was swift, with commentators noting that it echoed Trump's narrative that the protests were all 'chaos', and minimized the legitimacy of the demonstrations.
'This is a terrible headline,' wrote Neera Tanden, president of the Center for American Progress.

'The Times is erasing the reason for the protest. This is exactly what Trump wants. To erase the treatment of Black Americans as the rationale for opposition. Shame on The New York Times.'

Ben Rhodes, a former Obama adviser, said: 'If the New York Times thinks this accurately describes what happened today, I have no idea what country they've been living in - they should just let Trump write their headlines.'

Leading Democrats reacted with shock and anger at the headline.

'You’ve got to be kidding me,' tweeted Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, congresswoman for New York.

Even several members of the media joined the chorus of complaint.

'Possibly one of the worst headlines ever written, and I used to write headlines for a living,' said Michael Dresser, former Baltimore Sun correspondent.

'NYT editor Dean Bacquet is a disgrace to journalism and ought to be fired.

The paper later changed its headline to read: 'Trump threatens to send troops into states'.

Trump tear gas attack: NY Times changes 'pathetic' headline | Daily Mail Online
The New York Times is a Democratic Party propaganda sheet that is only good for going in the bottom of a birdcage. These days the New York Times ranks right up there with Pravda in the old Soviet Union.

I love it. You are now a racist if All Lives Matter. Intelligence is no longer of use. It is about screaming the loudest.

I AM A VICTIM. I AM A VICTIM. LOOK AT ME.

Let me guess, he's a little skinny jeans wearing white guy with a man bun and an art history degree?

Facist- authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, as well as strong regimentation of society.

This fits them exactly. How do they treat people that oppose their views? Even those who hold US Flags? What about the chants....No border, no wall, no USA at all. Just church potluck casserole eating do-gooders....according to the left. Then again, the left has always has always used those tactics so that point is not debatable anymore and is a fact.

OK champ. Clearly you are struggling with the application of those words.

Stand down everyone, forget your formerly held beliefs - @Bigun has decided that antifa is completely opposite of an anarchist organization as evidence by the authoritarian and dictatorial power, ultra nationalism and most notably the hallmark trait of anti-anarchy groups, their strong regimentation of society.

A lady I follow on twitter who is pretty down the middle militant posted this and I agree. She is also demanding #justiceforDexterRantz in Orlando but it isn't picking up much steam.

Dexter doesnt matter. He wasnt killed by a white police officer. He cant generate hatred.

It was never about his message. When how you protest drowns out the meaning of the protest itself, perhaps it's time to reconsider how you present your message. Why hasn't CK pursued protest away from the football field and the bright lights? Did his message lose meaning when he no longer had the national platform? He missed a golden opportunity to organize his following and pursue a path of change.

Great point. That is also most likely what happened too. But she thought she would get an atta girl then people got on her. He said FB which means it was most likely family and friends and not randos.
