What is it going to take for the protests to stop? It obviously has the public conscience and implementations take time. I have yet to see anybody discuss real solutions, other than voting and just generalities. The same people who are upset voted the people that allowed this to happen and yet take no responsibility.

In such a vast nation, we are always going to have these incidents. There are really no solutions other than generalities. There are no specifics to be had other than at local levels in police policy and DA accountability.

Rioters across the United States have waved Mexican flags in various American cities to protest the death of George Floyd, allegedly at the hands of a Minneapolis, Minnesota, police officer.

While rioters waved Mexican flags, American flags were routinely burned at riots in Los Angeles, California, Atlanta, Georgia, Portland, Oregon; and Chicago, Illinois.

In one video posted online, a rioter with a Mexican flag can be seen helping beat a man who was carrying and waving an American flag. In another post, rioters in Los Angeles torched an American flag while rioters with Mexican flags attacked police vehicles.

brilliant shutting down every thing for 3 months - now comes the aftermath - Council members have been considering cuts in police and fire-department staffing to help pare a $50 million budget deficit that’s resulted from the coronavirus pandemic. -- I m guessing this will be quite a few cities

It's not beyond plausible that it is so organized that protests around the country would be peaceful if those damn White Supremacists didn't infiltrate and...

These events are all about opportunism and all sorts of scum are participating from far right to far left and everything in between. The "outside agitator" is as much a stereotype as a looter = all protestors.

I'm not sure the protests need to stop. What needs to stop is the violence that gets embedded inside the protests. That will burn out.
