But the coroner doesn't decide what murder is, a jury does. If you think the defense isn't going to mention the drugs and the fact he died by heart attack and not asphyxiation, you're crazy.

Coroner can rule a death a death a homicide, a suicide, accidental. Jury doesn't decide cause of death, just guilt or innocence of the person charged.

My experience with autopsies is that they can’t determine when the drugs were ingested. It’s not scientifically possible to determine that with any degree of certainty.
