I’ve got a dog , a cat that hates everybody , a wife that will beat you down and then help you stop the bleeding and a few old muskets and antique pistols laying around . Will that be enough ?

For most buildings a smashed window comes out of the owners pocket and not the tenant. Most exterior damage will be that way. At least here in the south where I have worked.

If they are renting those ruined businesses means the owner of the building, also a business, is losing money. Any damage now makes them less likely to reinvest later.

Unless you are just pointing the absurditiy of the looters physically running away with the building itself.

And what happens to that message, when we have dozens of videos of white people being attacked in these riots because of their skin color? It's not a good way to win over people who should be supporting you if you resort to the same level of racial violence.

Thankfully we do get some of people protecting the cops, or that one boy giving out hugs.

That's one of the truest damn thing's I've read today. Our government is cruel when they don't need to be and impotent when force is needed. I wish more people would see that Instead of directing the conversation to how evil white people are

I don't disagree, but you're trying to rationalize the group think of seriously pissed off people. There are posters here that are trivializing their plight and even suggesting that racism doesn't exist, and few have even called them out.

I've already stated that I don't condone their behaviour, but I understand it. Whether you agree with it or not, the dialogue is being had and folks are definitely paying attention.

Just put “black owned” at the entrance and they won’t commit crimes there.
