George Floyd Protest/Riots

I made a logical extrapolation based on the purpose of the vast majority of buildings. But I understand why you won't play along any further and that's ok.

People aren't looting buildings, they're looting businesses. You tried to foist the argument of family's being in danger - if your in the path of destruction and don't remove your family from the equation, then your gene pool could probably stand to use a little chlorine.

You're trying to set up an appeal to emotion and now you're trying to shoehorn that buildings contain people, ergo your family is in danger. Stop it.

What's the distinction between a building and a business in your scenario above? I am not watching too many videos of lemonade stands getting knocked over.

Uh. Like the domestic terrorists in Michigan for occupying a building peacefully?

It's not an uncomfortable subject for me. Our nation let itself get lead down this path and we spend our time fighting on who is right or wrong in a particular situation instead of just fixing it.

Also has Antifa actually been declared a terrorist organization? I may have missed that. It's all another "ism/t" used to escape the reality of the situation. Easier to blame a vague group than face the reality of there just being crap people.

Yes, exactly like those people in Michigan. Imagine these cats getting labeled as terrorists for 'storming the capital with guns'.

As far as I know, trump only want them labeled as terrorists. To my understanding, that's enough - at least it was when Obama droned that guy in Assholeistan. Though, he's fond of the executive order - so maybe that's his play? Hard to know, he's bunkered down - hiding and tweeting about how other people should be tougher.

It's slightly ironic that the right suddenly doesn't believe that blue lives matter.

Stupid comment...

I totally believe the life of a police officer matters, as all life matters, but it is the job of a police officer to keep the peace.

Rampant destruction is not keeping the peace.

If the police are allowed to just sit back outside a school and listen to kids getting killed and also just sit back and watch buildings burn then why do we even have police?

Someone must keep law and order and it must be the police. Concealed carry was designed for moments when a police officer was not around to protect but when an officer knows of a situation we must be a society that requires that officer to protect the peace including property.

You're making light of the situation, I assume, because you find it too uncomfortable to address headon.

I don't think the conservative right is going to appreciate there folks being labeled as antifa on a whim, when the party in power tables eventually and inevitably turn.

When American's can arbitrarily be labeled as terrorists for protesting, we're all in trouble.
Antifa is in no way protesting. They are rioting and anarchists. The debate is over on that and it is a fact.

Protesting........?

All those guns not one person was shot, not one person was beaten, not one window was broken, not one item was stolen, not one building was set on fire, not one piece of property was spray painted.

See the difference?

Go Golfing, Boating, to the Beach, for a walk in the park with 3 or more people in some of these states and get arrested. Go to a riot, assault innocent people and burn innocent peoples businesses down and loot and steal everything they have worked their whole lives for and get Joe Biden to bail you out and a DIM mayor to sit on their a$$ and say that a boy.
They didn’t burn down the welfare office did they?

One is a business that transacts goods or services with people or entity's for compensation, a building is a physical structure where the business resides.

Most of the businesses are likely tenants of leased space within the building.

No they don't.

Hence the divide.

To them this was just as bad as burning down a city.

Its both scary and sad.

I personally am not trying to reach you. My point is that you/any bystander’s attitude of “I’ll only care about this murder when people act right and earn my attention” reflects a problem with that very person and can’t be pinned on rioters or anyone else.
You misconstrued my statement. To me this has nothing to do with the murder. It has everything to do with a stereotype that is constantly complained about on here. That of the BLM/Minority protester being a thug (that's white or black or whatever you want to fill in). When NO ONE and I mean NO ONE from the organizations having the peaceful marches steps up and says that this must stop, then it gets confusing for us old whitey's you know? Antifa seems to be behind some of this violence and they have long been supported by the leftist progressives.

By the way, doesn't look like he is going to be charged with murder. Manslaughter at the most looks like. Does that mean we will have to live through another week or two of rioting and vandalism?

So who are we mad at, the faceless boogeyman antifa or the disenfranchised community of liberal urbanites that are burning everything but the welfare office?

Pick a lane at who you're blaming for the unrest.
