George Floyd Protest/Riots

Do you justify this violence?
The majority of it I do not justify. However, the police precinct getting torched was more of a justifiable target than anything like Target or Autozone. Plus, the brutal violence on innocent business owners and other people in general is also unjustifiable.

As far as the cops and civilians clashing with each other, I say let them go at it. Notice that the smart police and sheriffs departments have run ahead of this and joined in with the people, while the LEO agencies that haven't learned anything are mobilized against the people.

When you've lost Harold Ford....although for a Dem I always kind of liked him. Seemed liked a level headed guy.

He is one of the few dems that I liked. He seems to have some solid core values. If his party had not moved so far away from him he would have been a force in the Democratic Party.

So you think if LE would join in these rioters would stop burning stuff down?

I have admitted that. I'm of the opinion that the cops need to improve in all of these interactions, no matter the race and gender. If they would do that, there is no ammunition for these people to use to riot.

I would argue that isn't entirely true either, they protested the Michael Brown shooting.

Citizens probably need to improve their actions too huh?
There is room for improvement on both sides. I've never said any different.
The black people complaining have to deal with a lawless culture and no accountability. I've spoken about this plenty of times. I know the solution to that, but again, we're talking about a major overhaul. Just like cops and the judicial system doesn't want to change, you will find the same resistance within the black community about us needing to change.

That is why I have said that if you don't have the mental capacity to see this issue from both sides, them maybe you should step away from the conversation.

I love watching these protest videos. It's 8% people holding signs, 2% people trying to start **** with police/break things, and 90% people that just showed up in the hopes they video something they can sell to Worldstar.
