WTF? The complaint is about police using lethal force far too often that leads to civilians dying. Are you seriously that dense? All of these riots are sparked by cops killing or beating civilians. The lack of a solution is built into the problem statement. "No more police racism."
Don't you think the fact that we know the names of all the victims that sparked these protests/riots is probably evidence that police brutality is not nearly as prominent in this country as you would like to believe?WTF? You are the very person that needs to probably sit on the sideline because you are smart enough to understand the problem or you want to deflect away from the problem.
I'm not making that argument, although I'm sure the majority of black people would. I've seen these cops shooting the s#!t out of plenty of white and Hispanic folks. And I've seen nonwhite cops doing outrageous nonsense. This isn't about black or white. It s about corrupt cops and a corrupt judicial system.Every profession has bad apples. Throw in collective bargaining and it is that much more to rid yourself of them. There isnt some systemic attempt to get black people. If there is, it is failing miserably.
And not for nothing, that is your complaint, not the complaint at large. The narrative is that black people are being disproportionately attacked by police BECAUSE THEY ARE RACIST. And you know that's the narrative. If George Floyd was white we are not here.WTF? The complaint is about police using lethal force far too often that leads to civilians dying. So his socks and T-shirt caused you to tune him out? Are you that easily triggered?Wrong. I disliked his protest for a few reasons. First, kap was the face of the protest. The guy trying to preach about human rights but sporting Che Guevara shirts and pig cop socks. What a hypocrite, zero credibility.
Second, I believe the anthem should be respected as many others do. Kneeling during it inevitably divided people. He could have kneeled pregame or any other time and then people could’ve actually gotten behind it, and the point of the kneeling wouldn’t have shifted the focus from police brutality to disrespect of the nation. He made it about him. You say the people who didn’t like his protest had no issues with police conduct, wrong there too. I think police behavior definitely needs work. Clear issues there. So idk, you might feel like you’ve got it all figured out but you’re just lumping people into some mindset that you created yourself.
