George Floyd Protest/Riots

Watch the video, did he look violent or like he was resisting arrest?
Not violent you really need to read my posts on this incident. He was giving passive resistance likely because of the drug usage. And the officer was in the wrong with his knee but it had no physical effect on Floyd’s neck or throat

Tactics will change. That’s the only way this ends. It won’t be pretty for the rioters when this happens either.
And...with everything they have been doing the last few days most reasonable minded adults won't have a problem with the response, no matter how violent.

The people that didn't like Kap's protests are the people that really don't see any issue with the way the police conduct themselves.

Every profession has bad apples. Throw in collective bargaining and it is that much more to rid yourself of them. There isnt some systemic attempt to get black people. If there is, it is failing miserably.

What ever grievance people had with law enforcement is completely gone. This is nothing but mob violence and terrorism.

Unless they want entire city blocks and all the historic buildings to be burnt to the ground it's time shut this stuff down with overwhelming force.

Wrong. I disliked his protest for a few reasons. First, kap was the face of the protest. The guy trying to preach about human rights but sporting Che Guevara shirts and pig cop socks. What a hypocrite, zero credibility.
Second, I believe the anthem should be respected as many others do. Kneeling during it inevitably divided people. He could have kneeled pregame or any other time and then people could’ve actually gotten behind it, and the point of the kneeling wouldn’t have shifted the focus from police brutality to disrespect of the nation. He made it about him. You say the people who didn’t like his protest had no issues with police conduct, wrong there too. I think police behavior definitely needs work. Clear issues there. So idk, you might feel like you’ve got it all figured out but you’re just lumping people into some mindset that you created yourself.

St. John's Church in Lafayette Square in DC is on fire. Last church Lincoln attended before being assassinated.
