That's very plausible. It's also possible that Chauvin wasn't aware of that. He wasn't on the scene the entire time, but there just isn't a good explanation for why Chauvin remained kneeling on the back of Floyd's neck, while Floyd was handcuffed and laying flat on his stomach, while an ambulance was en route, for 6 minutes. Why didn't the officer who called dispatch and requested an ambulance tell Chauvin to get off of him? You know the man needs medical attention, but you think he still requires such physical restraint (while he is already handcuffed, flat on his stomach, with his eyes closed and not moving?). The fact that lasted for 6 minutes is going to be hard to explain. Floyd wasn't moving at all. Chauvin needs a good attorney.
