George Floyd Protest/Riots

If you want to get this resolved, you address it at the DA and Police Commissioner level who have lost control of their entities. Cant have that though as they are already under liberal leadership. Lets blame society at large.
The DA was in charge from 1991-99 and then from 2007 - present. Between that was Amy Klobachar.. Yet people are protesting the White House. Doesnt make sense.

You modern dem party. This brings a smile to the face of huff, dink, septic and several others

Doesn’t excuse it, but pretty stupid to be out in a MAGA hat during these protests.

Nothing wrong with staying home and and just complaining on social media.

What about Mohammed Noor, a black Somalian police officer in Minneapolis who shot and killed a blonde white woman? He killed her in July 2017 and wasn’t charged with 3rd degree murder and 2nd degree manslaughter until March 2018.

The speed at which Chauvin was charged and arrested is unprecedented.
Unprecedented? 4 days?
If a civilian had been involved in the death of another civilian (or heaven forbid the death of a cop), that civilian would have been arrested THAT DAY!!!

I'll point you to the Arbery thread where you make some pretty significant assumptions about the victim and his guilt.
I base everything off the evidence presented like any good investigator would; only those overly emotional or ignorant of law and police/court procedures would do the opposite

Overwhelming? The other officers who stood by and did nothing to stop it haven't been charged.
That doesn’t change the sentiment of the posters in this thread..... or anyone else I’ve discussed this with. Other than that bloated dope mayor down in MS, I don’t think I’ve heard anyone say the cops don’t deserve jail time.

Well, it took 4 days for him to get arrested. Then of course you have he trial, which should be interesting. We will see how the verdict of that goes. And we also have to have change within police departments. nationwide change. That would be a start to end all of this.
Why do we need to change all police departments when this is a rare occurrence? That's what I do not understand. What is it that people want? No arrests of ethnic minorities? Special zones where groups can have their own law, like the areas of London where (allegedly) people can apply Islamic law instead of British law? We already have every kind of cultural awareness and sensitivity training you can imagine. Any sizable department is going to have programs to facilitate hiring minority officers, whether it's a tiebreaker preference or a strait-up quota. Pretty much every large city and many smaller ones have a citizen review board. It seems to me that trying to root out every police officer who would abuse his or her authority is about as likely to be successful as trying to root out every serial killer. There's just going to be a few out there who manage to fly under the radar until whatever it is that triggers them happens. Realistically, there is very little else that we can do beyond what has been done. If someone has new, realistic solutions, I'll listen but so far I have not heard any.

But no way crack could help induce a heart attack.

I'm no doctor, but lots of things could probably induce a heart attack when someone has a knee pressed on your neck which contains your windpipe and the arteries supplying blood to your brain for 9 minutes.

That took longer than I expected.

Please. You think it is a good idea to intentionally antagonize morons that are already burning buildings and attacking business owners?

Like I said, doesn’t excuse what happened, it just a pretty bad lack of judgement. At best it wasn’t necessary at all.

Well that guy is a racist, so....
The really sad thing, the person in the maga hat thought it was a good idea to be in the middle of a riot wearing a maga hat.

Again, correct. You need to be honest with yourself about these people.
