George Floyd Protest/Riots

No one is saying he shouldn’t be punished for his actions on the crackhead. I’m saying what proof of racism do you have? Or are you just trying to justify racism in your head so it fits your narrow world view

As a former cop, when you simply describe a central figure to these protests who was murdered by a public servant as nothing more than "the crackhead," it comes to no surprise as to why we, as a society, are where we are on a day like today.

My issue is with how long it took for him to be charged and that the other 3 cops who just stood there and took no action haven't been charged. If they were black, they would have already been charged.
What about Mohammed Noor, a black Somalian police officer in Minneapolis who shot and killed a blonde white woman? He killed her in July 2017 and wasn’t charged with 3rd degree murder and 2nd degree manslaughter until March 2018.

The speed at which Chauvin was charged and arrested is unprecedented.

I don't like racism by anyone, no matter the political party. The mayors of Minneapolis and St. Paul, who are both Dems, were begging for the cop(s) involved to be charged. The DA was slow-walking it and I bet he is a Republican l, although I haven't looked this up.
You like to blindly label people based on partisanship dont you?

He was a crackhead though. Doesn’t mean I think the officer was right. If there is a child molester who is murdered by his neighbor, I can rightly say arrest the neighbor and that the molester is a POS

That, by itself, has nothing to so with racism though. Could it end up being based on race? Yes but not using the what you posted, itll be other evidence. If hes a racist, label him such but its lazy to use the info you posted by itself as proof.
I think it's dangerous to assume that it wasn't racist at this point. Those assumptions have lead to more and more unnecessary deaths.

Wrong, it has everything to do with skin color. If George Floyd was white and the 4 guys involved were black, then the 4 men would have been charged the same day.

One of them is black, and one them is Latino you loudmouth. Do you ever research anything or do you just enjoying sounding like an idiot ?

White woman in pajamas shot on her street by a black cop in 2017 in Minneapolis. Took 9 months before an arrest warrant for the cop was given. Wasn’t convicted until June 2019 (2 years later) and sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Shooting of Justine Damond - Wikipedia

Not apples to apples obviously, but there is relevant proof that if the officers were black they wouldn’t have necessarily been arrested the same day.
Beat me to it. Overreactive, emotional responses are usually not the best methods to get the final results that everyone wants to see here.

After last night I’m not sure this is about George Floyd anymore anyways. That story has been taken away from he and his family by a bunch of selfish opportunists .

You're missing the point. It's your complete inability to empathize right now. You are saying with that label that Floyd was nothing more than a crackhead. He was a brother, a son, and a man who is no longer living because we live in a world where this just happens way more often than it should. He is dead because several officers not only failed as public servants, but as basic human beings who didn't exhibit knowledge of right and wrong.

What the heck are you even talking about?

I know you probably lose track of your wanton labeling of people who lead lives that are different from yours, but yesterday there was a picture posted of a peaceful protester brandishing a sign that cops were the enemy, with their partner and child behind them. You labeled the parents as drug addicts despite absolutely zero evidence of that being the case.
