George Floyd Protest/Riots

That's a big part of it. He has never understood the lives of a huge part of America and he has no way to either. His elitism is obvious but maybe not necessarily his fault
I think Trump is an a-hole, but he has his finger on the pulse of average people a lot more than you are giving him credit for. That is why his twitter game is so hot.

I think instead your disdain should be more directed at his followers, because he is speaking their language and it resonates with them.

So what will be the justification be for looting and violence tonight? Derek Chauvin has been charged and arrested so why would anyone go out and commit violent acts, loot and burn properly in Minneapolis, Atlanta, Portland, D.C....etc?

Give me one good reason how this will be beneficial to the communities at this point .

Oh he's told what to say and how to say it to deal with the red hatters and can deliver a line well. He doesn't truly understand their lives and desires though. No way he could

He knew obama used the word thugs years ago, like the clip I just posted, and used the exact language to show the hypocrisy.

You are asking to bring logic and reason to a situation that was created out of emotion.

For the past month or so, while the media has had a captive audience dealing with the China Virus, you've seen the media pump up 3 high profile police/former officer deaths in GA, KY and now MN. So how could you not expect tensions to be high and violence to not occur?

I'm not buying that. He speaks off the hip all of the time. Plus, I can't see him taking a script from someone else. Everything he says is all on him.

His off the cuff comments are terrible. His prepared comments are designed in a way to hit his untested audience. Check an interview of his 30yrs ago compared to now. Heard a language expert say his use of simple words and cadence is on purpose. It's all prepared

I’m not saying I didn’t expect it. I’m saying I saw all of these people in Atlanta with signs that read “Justice for George Floyd” last night and the scumbag cop who committed the crime has been taken into custody . What else should be done right now? As I said before, it’s just a bunch of selfish f-cks at this point who are taking the story away from the original story. They are opportunists who are trying to get theirs, and that’s exactly what they’re doing. They are allowed to because so many people are justifying their actions . If anyone denounces their actions it turns into labeling and name calling. Using terms such as Nazi and master race are lazy and worn out because it’s so casually used now.

I don't know why but the way this was written makes me laugh. The way I'm reading it, it starts off so angrily but calms down by the end lol
Yes because half way through I realized animals are actually great and these humans are scum so it was unfair for me to classify them as animals

Yes, attack people who are trying to make a living and put the food on the table for their families and tell them they are worthless and racist trash. Good plan there to garner their votes.

It doesn't need to make sense to you, and truthfully - we're having the conversation so, it clearly is drawing attention to the cause. I get it, it's inconvenient. Their behavior doesn't align with your value set and so it's incomprehensible but that doesn't make their objective any less valid. They are tired of watching their people get killed by cops on video, over and over.
The protests also had me talking about them.

And it depends on what you mean by value set.

If you mean protesting police brutality by burning private business, yes that doesnt make sense.

If you mean burning government stuff because of police brutality that makes all the sense in the world.

Well, on the bright side, he didn't say "MAGA loves the blacks." Also, doesn't such a statement imply or at least suggest that "the black people" are really not part of the MAGA people?
