Orangeslice13, a blessing to those around him…..Again

The fact of the matter is we can’t agree in totality and never will. Baptist or any other denomination can’t even totally agree with each other much less any other denominations. That is why when someone says I’m a bible believing Christian. It falls on deaf ears mostly. We for the most part believe our own perception of it.
Context changes a definition, wouldn't you agree?
Bump

What? Are you trying to say im lost?
Do you care what I think?
If so then, why?
You will be judged by G-d with Messiah. My opinion won’t matter.
I don’t care what you think of me and I’m honestly not concerned with your salvation. Your salvation is unknown to me and is unknowable to me. You believe yourself “saved” and I hope you are found righteous.

Messiah gives clear warnings, if you think you’re good then ignore them.

I serve the G-d of A,I and J. And Messiah whom He sent. If he destroys me for loving his word and diligence towards serving Him then He’d be righteous and just to do so. Knowing that my destruction was coming I’d still serve G-d.........and Messiah whom he sent. I’ll go to that destruction in humble submission as opposed to rebellion against what psalms say was established in heaven.

When that which is perfect is come.... Speaking of an object. You don't have to have a great education to figure that out.
Who is that is easily discerned to be someone by the context and the key word who.
Completely different scenarios.

It really wouldn't move me in the least your opinion on my salvation that is. I hope that I have shown enough character and have a good enough spirit about me so people will believe when I say I know Jesus.
Anyway, I was just wondering if you were trying to hint or shoot something towards me in those few posts there. I'm very assured in my salvation and I believe that it is indeed in step with the word of God. That is where my greatest assurance comes from!!
Shalom friend!!

When did you join Rex?
How did you get there?
The Bereans likely never heard of “Hebrews” it was written much later
Acts 17 according to one commentary took place at 50ad while the book of Hebrews is dated from 70ad to 100ad.
I would say it's very likely that the bereans heard of Hebrews.

Hebrews was “believed”to be written about 68 CE But the reality is we have no early copies to substantiate that. Unlike the rest of the New Testament where there are very early copies available. The oldest know copy of Hebrews is approximately 150 AD. The problem with the dating of Hebrews is that it’s often done so for political reasons. For example one scholar gives it a date of 65 CE as Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 so it must be before that. So we have a book that’s unsigned and without a known author and therefore (by the law of the time) without authority that has to be twisted to not contain errors of both fact and theology
You can say they heard it. You can say it’s scripture. I still say they didn’t. And I still say it’s not.

Perry Stone writes some well written interesting comantary. He has some really good thoughts and gives a lot to think about.
He at least signs his work but I don’t think his writings are scripture either.

I was simply pointing out that you shouldn't just easily dismiss the possibility of the Bereans knowing the book of Hebrews. You really have no idea what they knew just as the rest of us. Only bits and pieces are afforded to us.

You drew the connection between the book of Hebrews and the Bereans Understanding of it. I Said we are to test everything like the Bereans which includes the book of Hebrews. Your failure to understand that is why I called you Rex. Just like the authorship of the book of Hebrews. It’s unknowable if they had ever heard of it. History would indicate they likely had not.

I don’t build my beliefs on assumption made to fit my desires.

If we’re now giving unwanted advice then you should study and seek the truth of scripture instead of putting your faith in King James.

Alright then, I'm out.

So we’re putting the electrical in the ground at the property. I’m paying for it so we don’t have power poles. We have to be in the ground 40 inches. At 32 inches we found granite. I **** you not.....granite. Sand stone I can deal with. But ****ing granite?!?
Now we get to start the process of waivers. Some places allow 2 inches of concrete over the electrical conduit for every 6 inches above 36 inches deep. That would mean 4 inches of concrete over the conduit.
Hopefully Sequachiee county will agree 🤞

Wow! Granite, unless you are quarrying it, that's the last thing you want to find in your dig zone. Hopefully, it's just below your footer depth. That would strengthen the chiz out your foundation. 🙂

Are y'all gonna be on traditional septic? Siap
