With the letters it’s the oldest available copies and their authority is weighted against the unchanging Torah.Slice, what manuscripts in the Hebrew and Greek do you consider to be the final authority and why do you pick those? Just curious?!?!
The law (or portion of the law you’re referring too) was never intended to make one righteous. The law makes us righteous through the sacrifices of which Messiah is the final. Because the sacrifices are complete doesn’t mean the definition of sin has changed when G-d said his law was forever.I would say that the law is useless to make one righteous, would you not agree with that?
Psalms does that.I believe that the all the New testament including Hebrews reveals the spirit of the law and reveals more about our Lord and savior as well. It's a theme through the whole Bible that God continues to reveal more of himself to man. Now we have a complete revelation of all that we need to do the work of God and get to heaven. It's simply found in the Bible.
The entire Hebrews is covered with errors that don’t exist in the rest of scripture. You are missing the point of the passage. It's that simple. You are taking issue with one little statement and missing what he is saying that is completely in step with the entire Bible.
Because he’d take the advice of brick masons for how to buy jewelry.
Instead you seek the advice of those who know the topic
That’s why Christos can’t teach Jews about Messiah. They literally don’t know how it works within the law
And where does Hebrews claim that the definition of sin changed? I never got that from reading it.Mathew 5:18
18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not [h]the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
Messiah completion of the sacrifices for sin is spelled out and within the law so that the end of sacrifice isn’t a change. It’s lawful. Nowhere in the law is there a provision for a change in the behavior that G-d expects from people who (actually) believe him. It’s actually the opposite and Paul explains it perfectly in Romans ch7 and 8. he starts by saying he’s speaking to those who know the law. If you don’t then you probably don’t understand what he’s saying.
