I can assure you the players have been looking after themselves. A very large portion stuck around under our watchful eyes. There is concern regardless on injury front etc but everyone is in the same boat so we will happens.

relatively common unfortunately. same thing happened with my oldest's volley ball league...wasn't as expensive as yours, but we're not getting anything back. same thing with our neighborhood pool. it's part of our HOA to pay the management company and maintenance, lifeguards etc...for the pool every summer. well, pool is closed indefinitely, so no lifeguards, no maintenance etc...but we' aren't getting a dime back.

so i'm hoping they open the thing up at some point?

I was bored (I am out of work till August) and was feeling angry at the tone of some of the league's emails so I filed a case in small claims court today for the money. I know there are some other parents doing it as well. I don't even really care if I win, but I want the people to have to waste their time coming to court at a minimum. They will also need to justify to the judge why they need to keep the money they say they didn't spend as "donation" to the league.
