So this is off topic, but I am pretty pissed. 3 of my kids played soccer for the first time this spring and I was REALLY expensive, like $300 per person plus I had to buy uniforms. My 8 year old daughter had two practices and no matches and my boys had 3 practices and 1 match before an 8 week hiatus and then a cancelation email yesterday. The league said no refunds and are only offering a 45% credit towards the fall season, that my kids wouldn't be participating in anyway. The boys play football on fall so the credit is worthless to me. Not sure what my options are, but this has me pissed off.

relatively common unfortunately. same thing happened with my oldest's volley ball league...wasn't as expensive as yours, but we're not getting anything back. same thing with our neighborhood pool. it's part of our HOA to pay the management company and maintenance, lifeguards etc...for the pool every summer. well, pool is closed indefinitely, so no lifeguards, no maintenance etc...but we' aren't getting a dime back.

so i'm hoping they open the thing up at some point?
