Jerry Colquitt was noted as a team leader for UT on the 92 and 93 squads. Do you even know who he was?I guess the players are the poster too huh? They even talked on 990 this morning about Trey Smith and JG being the leaders.
Which ones? Do you have some references or is it like your "proof" that he wasn't one of the worst RZ QB's in the SEC last fall? Many in the media recognize that he is a limited QB. Few if any have called him elite or upper tier.I guess the media members also post under the same names too. They also think JG is the better option and qb.
There are two lies embedded in this statement. One, lots of people recognize he isn't what you think he is. They don't hate him... they're just objective. Two, he was the best only in the sense that a broken middle finger is "better" than a broken thumb.Yep the only real people are the posters who repeat the same tired and disproven narratives against the best qb on the roster last year.
Good Lord kid. You say you are a realist but then spew garbage. What do think a coach is gonna say?I guess the players are the poster too huh? They even talked on 990 this morning about Trey Smith and JG being the leaders. They said even with a few shaky performances the team wants JG out there and think he is the best option.

So even if "they" said that about LAST season... how exactly does that mean he will be the best option this year?Jerry Colquitt was noted as a team leader for UT on the 92 and 93 squads. Do you even know who he was?
[quote[They said even with a few shaky performances the team wants JG out there and think he is the best option.
The coaches and players have said it privately and media members in the know then reported it. That means that is what they really think.Good Lord kid. You say you are a realist but then spew garbage. What do think a coach is gonna say?
"Yeah, the players hate JG. He sucks. Wish he would transfer." - Coach Pruitt.
They say what they need to say as a coach. It's called Coach Speak.
And why have none of you JG slurpers addressed the fact that you are somehow related or personally connected? You honestly don't have to, but you are all quick to defend that you arent the same person when it's brought up, while leaving the other aspect out.
And perhaps it's my interpretation....but the argument in this thread has mostly (not completely) been on how good JG is as a College QB. It's not really been on who's the best QB on the roster. There is a big difference. But you can spin it however you see fit to apply to your agenda on your Unnatural obsession of a college kid.

Let me correct @k-town_king. What he means to say is the truth. ONE coach said it and ONE player said it. However the only one quoted saying it was CJP before BM ever took the field. From that point it was basically “I told you so’s” whenever JG would come in in relief and play well.Good Lord kid. You say you are a realist but then spew garbage. What do think a coach is gonna say?

Only in your distorted, inconsistent, and dishonest spinning of the numbers... without regard to him playing so poorly even with "good" stats that he was benched. He was the best on the roster last year. He was a top half of the SEC starter last year.
Actually some did say things like that... but that's not the least bit relevant. Maurer as a Fr did not provide the standard by which UT QB's should be judged... much less a RS Jr. You love going to that ridiculous argument... but it doesn't help you at all. The fact that a Fr can be compared in ANY positive way to a RS Jr... means the RS Jr has some really big issues. Not one media memebr has ever posted anything saying BM is a better qb during the season.
LOL@U. You would know a fact from Possum droppings. Those are facts.
Really? You have made this claim before. I have challenged it before. You have not cited anything like overwhelming references to prove it. The best you've come up with is comments that you TWISTED into something they weren't.The coaches and players have said it privately and media members in the know then reported it. That means that is what they really think.
You're support for this is false... the conclusion is false. PS- they "knew more" when they became so disgusted with JG that they benched him in favor of a true Fr who wasn't ready to play... right? The people who support our starting and best qb are no ore the same person than the ones who denigrate our starting qb.
Only the ones you've made up in your imagination. We actually agree with the experts and team.
Observations of effectiveness are not "emotional". They are the act of using intelligence to apply all of the relevant facts including but not exclusive to the "stats" to evaluation of performance. Not surprising at all that you don't understand it.The emotional "eye test" and "energy/moxie" crowd are going off of emotions.
He played. But the uncertainty among those who "know more than YOU" is clearly seen in their willingness to try two guys who weren't ready to play.It doesn't matter how good he is if he is the best we have. He should have played.
You can repeat that forever... and you'll always be wrong until you START being consistent and honest.... and willing to look at stats in context. Also pretty much every stat says he was a top 6 SEC starter last year at the worst.
Extremely telling. I think you can throw D4H in there with them too. .It is telling that @k-town_king and @PulaskiVolFan are avoiding the suggestion that they are related or connected.
So they are related to each other is what I'm gathering.
I don't have time or energy to respond to every dumb post.It is telling that @k-town_king and @PulaskiVolFan are avoiding the suggestion that they are related or connected.
That's not an answer or denial. You are still evading.I don't have time or energy to respond to every dumb post.
You do understand that "logic"... is stupid, right? But you seldom disappoint expectations.... unlike your hero.It doesn't even deserve a response. If we are related because we support the starting qb then I guess all the haters are related.

Ok plainly so you can follow.Still evading. . But no need. Your evasive answers is actually giving us the answer.
And once we started asking the question, your daddy/friend/mate, etc stopped liking everyone of your posts and defending you.
Again, it's no big deal, just odd you are so evasive
Because it's a ridiculous dumb post. Not sure why you keep spreading lies. It's not hard to figure out who I am as I've stated everything about where I live and what I do for a living. You sir are simply spreading lies.It is telling that @k-town_king and @PulaskiVolFan are avoiding the suggestion that they are related or connected.
Weak reply, and no, BM has not made a single throw like that one, I'm not certain he has completed a pass yet with a rusher bearing down on him and hitting him in the chest. Your reply to that was weak.Well, no. It isn't a single throw and if he's ever led it well... it is the exception not the rule. For more examples, just help yourself to a replay of the 1st half of the IU game. It really, honestly isn't hard to find examples or other manifestations of the problem. Early on, he froze and took sacks or dumped down too quickly. Those "aw crap, I missed him" throws.
Maurer in very limited time made a very similar throw except in the open field with over the top safety help to DWA. I believe that was in the MSU game. Like the sideline throws that JG has done well, he doesn't have to "see" the whole coverage. It was a great throw... but the read wasn't difficult and the throw itself was very low risk.
And... you'd be wrong. Again.
Was it the "rule" for Maurer? Not in his Fr year. But it has been the exception over JG's career.
If you are anywhere near the "expert" you claim to be... you are working WAY too hard to ignore this particular JG weakness.
Alabama hit. A perfectly thrown slant or dig route from off platform. Come to think of it, may have even been his second or third read. Thank you for helping prove my point that a qb that can throw accurately from off platform is a talent rather than a flaw. But your right.....it wasn’t his chest, dude was bearing down on his ear hole.Weak reply, and no, BM has not made a single throw like that one, I'm not certain he has completed a pass yet with a rusher bearing down on him and hitting him in the chest. Yeah. You're a real "honest" guy... no reason we would question why you and k-town virtually finish each other's thoughts.Because it's a ridiculous dumb post. Not sure why you keep spreading lies. It's not hard to figure out who I am as I've stated everything about where I live and what I do for a living. You sir are simply spreading lies.
You and BMs handler do the same exact thoughts as well but I'm not out questioning if you 2 are the same handle and if you were I could care less. You're not a dumb guy so I'm sure you recognize that in a world of 3 billion+ people it's quite possible for 2 of them to have similar thoughts, and it's possible that they can be the exact opposite of your opinion. I can't imagine any reason I'd want 2 profiles, I guess you can for some reason.Yeah. You're a real "honest" guy... no reason we would question why you and k-town virtually finish each other's thoughts.
Not the same throw. Once again, he has not made the throw. If you can show me BM throwing to the back of the endzone for a TD with JJ between 3 defenders while both getting drilled then I'll agree with you, until then I'm firm the film doesn't yet exist vs anyone other than a HS team or throwing target at a Super 11 event.Alabama hit. Careful who you’re calling a handler buddy.......all I do is defend him against your bias because I KNOW better. You don’t see me making posts putting JG down the way you do Maurer. So I call you out on your uneducated BS. That’s all. However you defend JG and HB (who you know little little about) as if your life depended on it.You and BMs handler do the same exact thoughts as well but I'm not out questioning if you 2 are the same handle and if you were I could care less. You're not a dumb guy so I'm sure you recognize that in a world of 3 billion+ people it's quite possible for 2 of them to have similar thoughts, and it's possible that they can be the exact opposite of your opinion. You're gathering wrong, not sure why he's doing it but that guy is spreading lies. I only know 1 person that post here but I don't know what his handle is, we graduated HS together, funny thing is that He hates Tn and is a big Bama fan, it could even be one of them but I doubt it.So they are related to each other is what I'm gathering.
