TDS is real and that happens every time he speaks. However...

A high IQ and ability to communicate effectively are not exclusive. Speaking publicly is no time to go stream of consciousness; he's fully capable of organizing his thoughts and staying on point, which robs monkeys of their poo-flinging.

I think even below average people get it. It's really just radical leftists. As I stated recently:

I swear the left would fellate Hitler and the conversation would go something like this:
"Yah, I haff done some bad things"
"But......I haff some dirt on der Trump."
"Yah! - ho, ho! das nice!
You liken Uncle Addy now, eh?"

Yeah I’ve noticed this in the data for a while. It’s why I’ve said you can’t say “oh the lockdowns destroyed the economy”. No, the virus did. I’m not saying lockdowns didn’t add pressure or keep people home longer. BUT, if virus deaths kept growing, folks aren’t just going to go about things like normal either. Pandemics suck.

Tennessee added another 9,170 tests yesterday with 97% being negative.
The hotspots continue to be the 2 prisons and Davidson and Shelby counties. Those 4 make up 58% of all TN cases.

252,748 completed tests (94% negative)
14,768 total cases (58% are in Davidson, Bledsoe, Trousdale, and Shelby counties)
7,369 recovered 50%
7,157 active
242 deaths 1.6%
East Tennessee active cases (78)
Knox County 30
Union County 0
Roane County 0
Loudon County 1
Anderson County 5
Blount County 12
Campbell County 0
Sevier County 15
Jefferson County 8
Grainger County 1
Cocke County 1
Hamblen County 3
Greene County 1
That's a total of 78 active cases for the 13 Central valley counties.

I agree wholeheartedly. A press conference is probably not the time to work through ideas. However, he was exceptionally busy, tired and taking in a lot of information. Everyone who has ever spoken in public has misspoken, including Trump. The media mafia is going to take every opportunity to take him out.

Obama could have raped a child live on air and the media would deny it happened.

Exactly. The data tracks in every state because humans have a basic sense of self-preservation.

When I heard a liberal talking head say state X is in trouble because the governor hasn't told everyone to stay at home, I understood that person was an idiot.

When I heard a conservative talking head say state X can't get back work because the governor has told everyone to stay at home, I understood that person was just as big an idiot.

Have there been a lot of stupid actions by people and politicians? Absolutely. But the worst mistakes are just starting to happen now as we don't have the leadership to come together, put politics aside, and do the thing 95% of us want to do: get back to work safely.
