Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

What is it I'm not holding him accountable for, specifically?

Actually you miss the point entirely.

You insist the two investigation into Trump & Co. were given the same routine treatment as other, nondescript investigations NOT subject to the daily attention of every media outlet, politician, and citizen for three years, therefore subject to the same routine "sloppiness" as others. Just another couple "let's get a president" probes, subject to everyday sloppy errors.

You go so far to make the claim: "Trump and his associates got treated the way any suspected criminal would be treated anywhere in America."
And "Errors, like the ones in the Page application, occurred in every single case. IIRC, the Page app was even below average in terms of number of errors."
That's like saying stepping on broken glass three times is the same or worse, as stepping once on a claymore.
----------------------------------------------
The Trump investigations were NOT analogous, nor treated the same as the 29, and therefore NOT just casualties of routine sloppiness. At minimum, IG Horowitz plainly leaves that question open, if not outright implying other motivation:

On the FISA side, we found, as you noted, a lack of documented testimony evidence about intentionality, but we also noted the lack of satisfactory explanations and in fact leave open the fact that, for the reasons you indicated, it’s unclear what the motivations were. On the one hand, gross incompetence, negligence? On the other hand, intentionality? And where in between? We weren’t in a position, with the evidence we had, to make that conclusion, but I’m not ruling it out.
That so many basic and fundamental errors were made by three separate, hand-picked teams on one of the most sensitive FBI investigations that was briefed to the highest levels within t he FBI, and that FBI officials expected would eventually be subjected to close scrutiny, raised significant questions regarding the FBI chain of command’s management and supervision of the FISA process.

Maybe Horowitz doesn't run **** through his brain before issuing reports and testifying to Congress, hmmm....
--------------------
Durham's investigations have prompted Barr's least ambiguous statement to date, echoes of IG Horowitz:
"My own view is that the evidence shows that we're not dealing with just the mistakes or sloppiness," Barr told host Laura Ingraham. "There was something far more troubling here. We're going to get to the bottom of it. And if people broke the law and we can establish that with the evidence, they will be prosecuted."
Trump "has every right to be frustrated" by the investigation, Barr added.
"What happened to him was one of the greatest travesties in American history -- without any basis," Barr said. "They started this investigation of his campaign. And even more concerning, actually, is what happened after the campaign. A whole pattern of events while he was president ... to sabotage the presidency ... or at least have the effect of sabotaging the presidency."
----------------------
I surely have emphasized the illogic of your shifting, myriad points.
I'd cut back the amount of **** you're running through your head, lest you accumulate **** for brains.

Careful, bringing all these facts and direct quotes from where you actually READ the report might make their heads explode.

Great job bringing these quotes btw...I assume many here are like me and haven't read this stuff. Appreciate it, keep it up. I want to see indictments for conspiracy, treason, sedition etc.

Quoting Barr on the efficacy of the investigation of Trump is like quoting Gorring on whether Hitler is a bad guy.

That just does nothing for me anymore - sigh....

With the luster worn off of "Nazi!....Racist!" from overuse, I really need you to up your game.
I need motivation.

Horowitz is peeved about the Nazi remark, though, so you're 1-1.

LG up his game? That would require intelligence and some independent thought. Not happening.

There are exceptions to everything, of course. Richard Engel, the foreign correspondent for MSNBC, is a very good reporter who has had a good career covering the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as the fight against ISIS and the carnage in Syria.

He has mostly managed to be a real reporter in this era, but the fact that it is the same person you see in every one of the hot zones is an emblem of the near-complete deterioration of old-school journalism. He gets in, gets a fairly good surface view of a situation and then gets shipped on to the next nightmare, never getting us toward the kind of deep understanding of a situation that we desperately need in a democracy.

I mean, where can they go after "Nazi"? "Mao!"..."Stalin!"...well, yeah on an absolute basis, I guess but, meh.
Hitler stuff just raised the standard so high, like 99.95%.

I'm looking for that edge, the last .5% of refined vilification, and am willing to pay for it.

In a bizarre but true tragic occurrence, Laura Bush (formerly Laura Welch) was at fault in a two car accident which killed a boy in November of 1963 when she was 17 years old... and the guy driving the other car who was killed, just happened to be a former boyfriend of hers that she had recently broken up with. It's true. The guy's name was Michael Douglas (obviously, not the actor). The media was actually very civil with her by not bringing this up. On it's surface, it's too much to believe. Fox News certainly never talked about this. They did, however, bring up every Michelle Obama misstep in her 8 years as First Lady.

Was fox news around in 1963? And did the former first lady leave someone to drown?

Sure, that we have news networks that run propaganda for both sides is very sad, but I the worst aspect of MSNBC and Fox to me is that they have no ability anymore to report anything except a kind of thinly-sourced gossip.

If neither existed tomorrow morning, the country would not only be friendlier but better informed.

So you think the country's problems end if Fox and MSNBC are gone tomorrow?
Who would call the other 98% of the Media on leftist big government bs? Such a simpleton

Would you venture a guess what a place like TN would look like by mid August in terms of percentage of population infected?

Seems like populated areas of TN might have gotten up toward 3-5%. So, it wasn't running away - but now there are a decent number of active cases to light it off. I would think that it would progress fairly well by August - but I don't really have any sufficient models/data to make an educated guess at a number.

Yeah, I want crows picking eyes from carcasses hanging on the WH gates.

Assuming, of course, that criminal activity occurred...

I do not recall stating that ending partisan media would solve all the country's problems tomorrow. Forgive me if I falsely gave that impression.

I do think it would be somewhat better if journalistic integrity and ethics returned and journalists did not see themselves as combatants on either side of the political fray. I am not so naive that I believe that will happen.

I also apologize if I offended you in any way, inspiring you to call me a "simpleton". You are very likely a much more sophisticated intellect than a hillbilly with a very small amount of book learnin' like me.

You didn't offend. But 90% if the media is left and has been for generations. So start over there. They eat their own if they stray ask professor Dershowitz

How does someone with your level of education misspell “Göring”?

LG has shown time and again that he struggles with both math and English. Makes one wonder how he made the grades to get into law school. Even at UF(FU). I have also seen him corrected here on matters of the law...but unlike EL...I actually believe LG to be both male and a lawyer. EL...well she is likely neither.

If only I could see a difference here....hmmm...I know there's something....oh well, guess it is too subtle for me.

Just want to throw this in here. If any Red Hat ever bitches again about folks calling you out on being fat and white, never again bitch about anything. I've seen Moochelle, accusations calling men women, hate doing what it does.
Huh? You finally get some of the good medical stuff??
