If you have watched Pruitt in games prior to this, especially the 2018 season, the onside kick was utilized unsuccessfully on several occasions. In each case, the play "almost" worked - maybe didn't make it exactly ten yards, ball might have grazed a player etc. They were "OH SO CLOSE". It dawned on me that somewhere, sometime, he's gonna pull this off.Tennessee does not have the incredible recruiting success as of late without the onside kick decision with 3 timeouts and over 4 minutes left on the clock in the bowl game vs Indiana. Agree or convince me otherwise
Does beating Indiana in a bowl really move the recruiting needle that much? Honestly that should have been 3 td win
ummmm..........Jeremy Pruitt was personally the 24/7 National Recruiter of the Year and has two more on staff (Tee and Brian) + Ansley who was runner up last year. Somehow, that tells me that they would likely have good recruiting because they are good recruiters.![]()
