I would like to thank all who have lifted my family up in prayer.
Thursday my father was called home to be with his lord and savior Jesus Christ.
My father was a pastor for 40 years and loved everyone he met. The greatest man I have ever known my hero and my rock. A true warrior of faith. I know where he is and I made him a promise to see him again.
When you pray say one for old ridge runner I truly need and appreciate them.

why do you say there will be no vaccine?

several companies have said its a straight forward virus, similar to SARS. Pitt said they were close to a SARS vaccine so they doubled down on this one.

Because it is a long way from identifying a vaccine(which they still haven't even done) to mass producing one for 6 billion plus people. And you can damn sure bet that poor schmucks like me will be the last to get one.


It typically takes 18 months to get one done.

Does it matter though? No matter what the rate ends up being it’s proven to be very deadly to elderly people and ones that have other health issues so why risk it? I saw the tweet Thread your quoting from clay and it’s like he’s on this gotcha witch hunt now Bc he’s already showed his ass once so he’s all “BOOM! See i told you, not as deadly as the flu!” Like the flu isn’t a serious thing that most of us get vaccinated for every year.

Elderly die in larger numbers with flu, falls, car accidents, etc because it’s harder on worn out bodies. This is no different. Death is always a horrible and sad problem but it’s coming for all of us. Shutting everything everywhere down was an over reaction. Doing nothing at all in NY would’ve been an under reaction. China caused us to not be as prepared as we should’ve been and we’ve paid dearly. But it was an over reaction.

well “young and healthy” is very subjective and really going to differ on who declares what healthy.

But none the less, you let all the young and healthy people go out then they bring it back to the others that aren’t so capable of beating it. Or what happens if you kept schools and daycares open, we all know how quickly sicknesses spread through them.

It doesn’t surprise me coming from clay Travis But i genuinely don’t get the whole fiscal freak out people. Is a few paychecks or even your current house, job, car etc more important than your health and your friends/family.

Existing ain't living you and watching everything you have worked for your whole life get flushed down the crapper is just as bad as death to a lot of people..so yeah.

Look at those numbers..351 of the 391 deaths were over 60, and 372 of the 391 if you back it up to 50. It is like somebody designed it to wipe out elderly or immunocompromised people.

If it was not for that, this really would be no worse than the flu.

Prayers friend!! I lost my dad 8 years ago. He woulda been 75 a couple of weeks ago. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of him!

Lewis is the best RB I’ve ever seen

Chuck Webb was more complete. Lewis was great no doubt, but of all the UT RBs I have witnessed starting with Johnnie Jones in the early 80s...Webb was the best.

He would have won the Heisman before leaving Tennessee...nobody can change my mind on that.

3 out of 14000 in NY 0-17 died. ALL 3 had underlying issues. Also, intubation has been found in several cases hastening death. All these deaths in areas where mitigation was practiced well according to experts. Nashville doing great. Other counties in southeast Tennessee doing bad. But they have low case and death rates and few in the hospital. Shutting down NY and Louisiana probably a good idea. The entire freaking country. Heck no. DATA does not support.

I am almost 52, overweight, and in poor health with 15% of my left lung and 5% of my right permanently scarred...and I am still out everyday doing my job.

Maybe "somebody" did exactly that? Ever heard of China's 'seventh domain' program? It refers to biological warfare, which includes “bio weapons” and “genetically tuned weapons that can attack only a certain kind of ethnic group.” Still waiting on an answer as to why China ordered all samples and specimens destroyed.

The death rate is a fraud...that much is a fact unless you believe in fairy tales. If anything most of the media are trying to pump up the mortality rate to foster fear.

But either way this thing is a bad deal because of ease of transmission.

But we can not keep the world shut down till a vaccine is available...period.
