What're the best ones for the price?
Well they aren't going to ship a gun to your house. You can buy from somewhere like Academy or BassPro and go pick it up at a local store. If one of your local guns shops sells online you might be able to do the same. We have one here doing curbside pickup. If it's somewhere that you can't physically go, they will have to ship it to a shop where they will do the background check. If I were to buy online, do I have to go through a middle-man?
I'll get there. But I can't afford both atm. I've shot a buddy's Canik. It was one of the bigger ones. But I was really impressed with it. I originally wanted a Springfield XDS. But I can't find one in my price range with all this craziness going on.
I've handled the P365. I thought the grip was to small. I looked into getting a subcompact conversion for my Sig P320 too. But they cost so much, you might as well buy a new gun.
We had an incident at work that has me motivated to start carrying. Which is why I'm not waiting.
I'll have to look into that at some point. It's hard to get anywhere you can actually lay hands on anything at the moment. My full size is a Sig and I do love them. How much harder is it to conceal with the bigger mag?The 12 round mag for the 365 makes a big difference in the grip feeling too small....at least for me it did....
They have/had a display at Nashville Armory off Sidco where you could test the grip feel on the P365 with the 10, 12, and 15 round mags. I assume that any place that sells a lot of Sigs has one. I have long fingers and can eat up a standard 1911 grip. I have a Glock 42 for deep concealment, although I hardly carry it since I got the P365XL. One thing I don't like with the extended mag on the G42, which I also detected could be an issue with the extended mags on the P365, is that my pinky finger flesh seems to be drawn into the crease between the extension and the grip and I managed to pinch myself enough times at the range that I figured for carry purposes I was better off with the flush mag and a free floating, unpinched pinky finger. Grip is not an issue for me on the P365XL.The 12 round mag for the 365 makes a big difference in the grip feeling too small....at least for me it did....
Plenty of places have them. But I'm stuck on a mid shift currently. Store closures and reduced operating hours make getting to a place in the Tri that's open for more than Curbside pickup a @$!#&.They have/had a display at Nashville Armory off Sidco where you could test the grip feel on the P365 with the 10, 12, and 15 round mags. You just have to find a local FFL that will do the transfer for you. You can Google those near you. They'll charge a transfer fee, usually around $30 plus the background check. You can purchase more than one on a single background check. I've done it a bunch and it's painless. If I were to buy online, do I have to go through a middle-man?
