Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I can't believe they played that video in the middle of this. What a lack of self-awareness... in one moment, they completely justified all of the network's decisions to not show these press conferences live. These pressers are purely for the sake of propaganda.
Whatever pisses off the Democrats and RINO Never Trumpers is 100% alright with me:cool:

You said Biden was just as bad, to which I would say that you are just trying too hard to say they are both equally as bad, which is more than unlikely.

But whatever.
That is Weezer's "all-purpose Trump defense". It goes something like this: "Everyone is just as bad as Trump... everyone lies, everyone is corrupt, everyone self-deals". It's a way to normalize Trump's conduct to the point that it doesn't matter - since everyone does it.

What if the Dems aren't watching? I would be willing to bet that is the point where every network besides the two Fox News channels cut away from it... and they were completely justified in doing so. Trump was trying to run a free campaign ad, under the guise of being a public service announcement. It was unethical as hell.

And I'd say you only favor Biden because he's a Democrat. I don't see either as a good choice.

They all are, BB. Every single one of them lies. They all throw red meat at their base. Blame everyone else for problems. Take all credit for solutions. And, most despicably, they have all sold us things on te backs of our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren just to get elected. F them all.

I've never registered as anything, but If anyone is registering as a Republican because of Trump, how proud the GOP must be.

I didn't vote for Hillary and I didn't vote for Trump, but I will vote for Biden, if the COVID doesn't get him.

Similarly, the British epidemiologist Neil Ferguson has estimated that "as much as half to two-thirds" of the people who will die from COVID-19 in the U.K. would have died "anyhow" by the end of the year because deaths from the disease are concentrated among people who are old and/or have serious preexisting medical conditions.

You may work in the service industry but you are not a service industry. If I call you a bartender it’s because that’s what I believe you are and probably a ****** one. I will admit that you are right. Calling you a bartender is degrading to the real men and women who work in that profession.

Being a server or a bartender is not a degrading job. I know a lot of great servers and bartenders and always tip them well for their great service.

I think you hold Trump to standards you don't hold other politicians to. It's not a defense, it's a statement. Wrong isn't something to be selectively applied, yet I've noticed it's a habit for some, especially the more liberal posters. Honestly, I thought it refreshing to see you actually admitting some of the reality of all of this earlier. But it seems no matter what a Democrat does, some on here will always defend it. And even when Trump does something good, or right, he still gets attacked. My point has always been hold both sides to the same standards. But some have different standards for each side, which shows up in their degrees and continuums. It's not that I'm "normalizing" Trump. It's that some have "normalized" the behavior of politicians based on their partisanship. So when I suggest Trump be measured by those same standards(rather than a different set), some people lose their minds.
