Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Anyone hear anything about the COVID cases in Rogersville? Just heard that it had gotten out of hand, at some point recently and the hospital had to partially shut down temporarily.

So, the word is, that one nurse's husband tested positive and was isolating at home, while the nurse was told she could still come to work since she didn't have any symptoms. Apparently it spread pretty fast within the facility from that point, leading up to the temporary shutdown.

I'm not finding much info from news articles, figured someone might know more details.

Sorry if this has been posted... but I can't believe that I'm agreeing with everything Bill Maher says!

He has said for a long time the left is way too PC . I don’t agree with his views 95% of the time but I do with that one . I ( believe ) he had Dennis Miller on one of his shows , and they were talking about how the left and PC has ruined comedy .

I haven't heard anything more about this either, even on our local news, except for those hospital workers. We've wondered a lot about it, too. My youngest daughter and two of our grandkids live in Hawkins County, but they're staying in.

I am so Boooooored. Watching virtual racing. I am thinking the lawn mower needs cylinder honing and new rings.
Im still working but I always have a 6 day break afterwards..been doing all kinds of spring cleaning and maintenance..changing oil, replacing blades, air filters, painting, cleaning gutters, pressure washing the fence, etc. Gonna work on pressure washing my driveway and front sidewalks next week. Thats over a 1000 linear feet of fun!

Huner spend it and help the people that actually need the money. As soon as my haircut place opens up I'm giving a $50 tip for the person that cuts my hair. Every service industry person I can find to give work to I am going to. I don't need the money either, but I'm going to pass it along to the ones that do.

I know a couple of people who do that all the time.

I've heard rumors that some states will fine you for not wearing a seatbelt while driving. Can you imagine!?!?
Last time I got stopped for not wearing my seatbelt was right here in my small Texas town, about 5 years ago, by some near-hysterical deputy.

The lady nearly shot my jewels off when I put my hands in my pockets just to make sure I still had them.

Edit: I still don't wear a seatbelt.

This is coming secondhand from a friend whose Mother in Law works at the facility, but apparently things were pretty relaxed up until that point. Supposedly the infected husband died, I guess that'd be easy enough to verify, but I'm only seeing the death of somebody aged 90 with a wife of someone of about the same age.

I am thinking a 1000 dollar pizza party. And a 200 buck tip.

And no one is invited. I will be racing McDad to the size 40s.

Is anyone claiming women are not more responsible than men when it comes to avoiding pregnacy.
That's a generalization like "men are physically stronger than women" is a generalization.
Now it's my turn to LOL.....

The **** does that even mean?

Considering the most common form of birth control is a condom, I'm gonna say there's evidence to support most men try to avoid unwanted pregnancy also...

... just going off the biology, it seems like pretty much an even split unless you’re saying there are a significant number more babies born to wanting mothers and unwanting fathers?
