I disagree with him almost 100% of the time, but I respect the fact that he often makes his decision and approaches his points from a position of trying to think it through. Liberals typically approach every issue from an angle of "feeling". I don't think Bill Maher does that, though I don't typically agree with where he arrives at his conclusions. This is one of his best pieces in years.Yeah that POS is trying to walk back his basic desire to see the American economy die - no matter the cost - if it got rid of Mr Trump. He's a complete douche.
Spain, Italy, and France a combined 2200 deaths yesterday.
At 1300 today. Good drop if they are done reporting for the day.
Do you pay anything in income tax? I do and I kind of love me the idea of getting some of my money back. The more I think about this stimulus package and the more I talk with people about it the more I get pissed off about it. One I have lost all faith in our government (congress + senate) for using a time of crisis to push dollars to their political agendas this one right here is the biggie for me. But as I have thought about it here are a couple of things:
1. I have not been laid off from my job. I do not require this check as of right now. That's not saying I won't need it in the future but I sure do not need it right now. Please do not send me the check if I am not in need and please send the checks to those who are in need.
2. If you were already getting government assistance with food stamps or housing you do not need this check either. The two most essential things at this time for those who have lost their jobs is food and shelter. If the government is already providing for 1 of those you need to cut it in half if the government is providing for both you do not need a check.
3. If you are not a US citizen and you have not paid taxes you do not deserve to receive money. Seeing that California and Chicago are going to awarding stimulus money to illegals is ridiculous! It needs to go to your hard working citizens who are truly effected by this pandemic.
4. They should have had a penalty clause for special interest groups who received money ala. the Kennedy Center. If you just received millions of dollars from the government that you were not originally accounting on getting you do not need to lay off your people. If you do so you should be immediately voided the money awarded and the money should go to those you are truly in need.
The purpose of this package is to provide security to those who have lost their jobs and are truly in need. The more I read and the more I talk about it the more I am confirmed that this supposed "stimulus package" is not going to the right people.
Sorry for the rant but this thing is absolutely ridiculous to me.
. Looked at them again. France and Spain dropped big. France has routinely done a poor job of how they report cases and deaths. They will have plus 800 swings in deaths and +1000s in cases from day to day.I think it’s fair to say that if today holds then one was either abnormally high or one abnormally low. Too rapid of a change for it not to either be an oddity of timing or record keeping.
You've said some pretty insensitive things over the years. But this hurts, man.
It was some time ago. Where he said he would be all for an economic disaster if it rid us of Trump. That's what I'm asking.. what video?
I'm with you on this, mostly. I believe there should be an opt out "button" on this thing. They're going to send me (and wife) $2400 that we don't need and aren't going to spend any of it anyway. I'll just put it in savings since they will be asking for it back sooner or later. Why not just get it to the people who need it and will actually use it?The more I think about this stimulus package and the more I talk with people about it the more I get pissed off about it. Huner spend it and help the people that actually need the money. As soon as my haircut place opens up I'm giving a $50 tip for the person that cuts my hair. Every service industry person I can find to give work to I am going to. I don't need the money either, but I'm going to pass it along to the ones that do.I'm with you on this, mostly. They are an uber-liberal pro-abortion group. I am certainly not endorsing their conclusion. I picked them only so I couldn't be accused of cherry picking a right wing source.
Wait a second.I guess it hurts more with the bleak prospects of having a season at all, especially when we were burning so hot, just to have the water thrown on us prematurely.
Some of this gloom might be relieved, if EA Sports would release NCAA Football 2020.
