Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I think if parks are open where people can sit in common areas as long as they're adequately spaced apart, a church should be able to do the same in an open field.
You would think so but they did arrest the guy playing tee ball with his daughter..... started shutting down drive thru churches....... I would not put anything past our government.

I'm really surprised that these Southern Christian conservatives are going to lay down on Easter Sunday service. They usually talk the biggest game when it comes to issues involving God and country.
I’d guess that it’s because they’re not dumbasses and would prefer not to die.

I don't get the rationale for keeping parks open for exercise and fresh air but not allowing big open fields to be used for church services, provided that proper distancing is maintained at all times.

Forget about the capitalism aspect of dairy farming, the people around that dairy farm will always need free milk. Sorry. Can't give it to you. I need to make money. I need to limit the supply to increase my profits.

Mick, go work 14 hours a day then hand over your pay check to your neighbors. You don't need the profits, and can work selflessly for the benefit of others. And when your house and car are repo'ed, you can appeal to them to house and feed your family. You'll be one of the gang.

Predictably, there are a lot of meathead decisions going on right now: Cops chasing joggers on a beach; Drive up church services shut down; guy gets arrested for throwing BP to his kid. People are going to start resisting en masse if governments don’t start at least giving lip service to a timeline.

Wait, wouldn't that be more than 6 feet of distance and someone he already lives with anyway?

Did anyone think we needed more ventilators before Jan 2020?

I think you just stabbed to death your own talking point.
In fact, we don't need more vents until we need them. No one knows when that will be or how many.

Since it happens about every 100 years.
Or actually didn't, even this time, which highlights your claim is entirely fabricated and irrational.

It depends on what that 'education' is. When you are broken down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, that high school dropout that can come get your car running has a far more valuable 'education' than ANY Harvard MBA. And before any of you elitists poo poo that example, that is exactly what is wrong with America right now. Not enough plumbers, mechanics or welders to name a few. But we have all the PhD coffee pourers we need. A VoTech certificate is nowhere near as sexy as that MBA, and that is really unfortunate.

The Education Industrial Complex has created an environment requiring their workers license (degree) in order to work. Damn nice to have a captive customer base and have government funding it front to back.

Why are they shutting down some of the drive thru church services where all members are following the rules?

I heard he’s picking Barrack. Biden will resign in the first 100 days and we’ll just get a third term of Barry. (I actually did hear this... from a lawyer.)

Wow... So, serving up the Red Hats with another four year case of the "brown frowns"... that would be epic, indeed.

Bill de Blasio seems to be a terrible leader. Apparently him and Andrew Cuomo are not on the same page about state decisions regarding cancellation of schools for the rest of the year. De Blasio may be right but he seems to jump to decisions on his own. People talk about the worst democratic candidate being Bloomberg but I think De Blasio was much worse. Bloomberg actually had more support than most of the democratic candidates and was possibly hurt by the late entry into the worse.
