Sweden got started later than we did and has a much smaller population. I think it’s pretty early to say they’ve accomplished anything.

South Korea and Taiwan (both well prepared for an epidemic from their SARS scares) took drastic and early measures to control foreign travel into their country and tested like crazy to identify and isolate the infected. We did neither.

Sweden's first case was Jan 31. Everyone is much smaller that us except China and India. I think it's early to say we've accomplished anything.

I know what SK and Taiwan did, and what we did. Again, we've proven nothing yet. It is purely an act of faith to assert we are doing the right thing.

Education isn’t bad you toad . Bragging about how much better people are with an education vs without one is what’s bad . Just because you went into debt $100k to get a piece of paper doesn’t necessarily mean you are smarter for doing it . That article is from 2016. But dairy farmers are once again spilling milk. Right now farmers are still being paid for even the milk that they are spilling out. One area it is hurting is the drivers. Because of the spilling, there is no loads for the drivers to go get.

I don’t think the odds line up the way you think. Those case numbers were affected by the social distancing. They would skyrocket if we removed all the restrictions. Random screenings in Italy have suggested as much as 65% of the population in a hot spot could be infected.

Assuming social distancing has an impact from 1 - 5, we still cannot qualify its efficacy, or compare it to other models in which the country was not locked down.

But the consensus is the skyrocketing will happen anyway, and that we think we are spreading it over time.
Italy is informative to the degree they are like or unlike us.

The entire case supporting our strategy is supposition and faith. We've no idea at this time whether we made the best choice ,or if not sheltering and shuttering would have been wiser.

Nope it was given to me many years ago by my grandmother because I was constantly asking why and being stubborn , instead of just doing as I was told . As in ..you are always a LiL Rebel . I needed a name for Volnation when I signed up so Onelilreb drew the short straw .
